2. Connecting kitchen hood modules
Before installing the next module, the special silicone included in the kitchen hood box must be applied on the surfaces indicated in the drawing. Upon connecting modules, each subsequent module is supported with the teeth located on the kitchen hood chamber end.
2.1 Fastening modules
Modules are fastened to one another with M4 stainless steel screws, using the spe-cified holes in the side and ceiling panels.
2.2 Fastening sides back-to-back
When connecting modules back-to-back, each module is suspended on separate bearing points. Rear walls are fastened to one another using M4 stainless steel screws. The edge of the opening connecting the chambers is lined with a special U-profile gasket.

3. Installation of the adjuster of supply openings
The kitchen hood front panel lock opens with an Allen key. The same tool is used for removing the supply panel, pulling it out of the open-ing located above the lock. Auxiliary supply adjusting plate is installed in the bot-tom of the supply chamber.
4. Installtion of the the grease chute and collection container
The grease chute swivels into the intended slot in the grease trap. Upon installation and maintenance, make sure that the U-profile gasket lining the chamber edge maintains its position. The grease collection container is installed on horizontal rails underneath the grease trap.
5. InstallingHFKgreasefilters
HFK grease filter is installed on the teeth of the upper edge profile of the exhaust cham-ber. The grease filter is placed using the handles or a special installation tool.

6. Measuring
NORDcanopy kitchen hoods are fitted with measuring nozzles located in the lower section of the chamber. NB! During measurement, HFK grease filters must be fitted and the front panel must be closed. In order to adjust supply airflow, the position of the adjusting plate located in the supply chamber is adjusted. Adjusting plate located behind the HFK grease filters is used for adjusting exhaust airflow.
6.1 K-factorformeasuringairflow
• Exhaust K-factor = 22,3 (per 1 filter)• Supply, auxiliary supply in a closed position, per 1 m of front panel:

*If the side panel has perforation, add the side panel k-value to the front panel k-value.
7. Safety
It is prohibited to hold or add additional weight on the top of the canopy.
8. Replacing the light
Integrated light fittings with protection class IP 66 are used in NORDcanopy kitchen hoods. Each light fitting is fitted with a power cable (3x1.5 mm, length 1,5 m) and a junction box.To remove the light fitting, the screws fastening the protective glass over the light fitting are unfastened and the protective glass is removed.

9. Kitchen hood maintenance
DEPENDING ON THE FREQUENCY
OF KITCHEN MAINTENANCE
All internal and external surfaces of the kitchen hood, incl. the light fitting, are cleaned using soap and water or neutral cleaning agents. Carefully rinse the surfaces after clea-ning in order to avoid a harmful interaction of cleaning agents and high temperatures. NB! Do not clean the kitchen hood using rough or abrasive cleaning agents, chlorine or bleach.NB! Never clean the kitchen hood when any of its surfaces are hot. To clean the exhaust chamber, HFK filters and the grease chute are removed from the kitchen hood. To clean the supply chamber, the front panel of the kitchen hood is removed.
DAILY
To clean HFK grease filters, these are removed from the kitchen hood. Fluid grease is poured down the sewerage and grease filters are washed by hand, in a dishwas-her or steam-cleaned. Grease collector is removed at the same time as cleaning the grease filters, emptied into the sewerage and washed by hand, in a dishwasher or steam-cleaned. NB! Grease trap must be inspected regularly and emptied if necessary.
