Curriculum
Departments are setting work either directly on the school portal or through online learning platforms as they
see best. The information below outlines the main learning resource websites that certain departments are
using and has been updated since the last Bulletin. If a department is not listed it means they are setting work
directly through the portal. There is a government backed website www.thenational.academy and also the
www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize sites which can be used to support the learning already being set by departments.
There is further information here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-

Please note for most of the learning platforms you will require Google Chrome as Internet Explorer will not
support all the functions.

Physical Challenge:
Mr Farnolle has set another Physical Challenge this week.
This week’s PE challenge is one mile run/walk a day. The aim is to challenge yourself when running/walking
to improve your time with each run. You can do this throughout the summer and it will have a tremendous
impact on your fitness. Studies have shown that running just one mile a day can have many health benefits
such as improved cardiovascular endurance, stronger bones, relieves stress and fun!.
Safety tips
1. Plan a safe running route. 2. Wear correct footwear. 3. Warm-up before starting your run. 4. Stay hydrated. 5. Cool-down after activity
