Dr. Anita Jacobs is President of the National Center for Effective Speaking in Jerusalem, Israel, and specializes in programs with substance and a “sense of human.” She has been designated as a Certified Speaking Professional by the National Speakers’ Association.

Dr. Jacobs’ professional objective is to provide understanding and practical instruction on the use of authority, energy and people awareness

to influence others in formal and informal interactions. She focuses on improving people skills and quality of life for lawyers, national and international business people, civil servants, and non-profit volunteers, professionals and educators.

In addition to her extensive client base, Anita has been adjunct faculty at the University of Notre Dame and Indiana University and guest lecturer at Baruch College, Rutgers University, Tulane University School of Law, The University of Judaism and Fairleigh Dickinson University. She has served as executive director of major organizations including the Jewish National Fund and as the United Jewish Appeal National Campaign Training Director. Anita’s proudest accomplishments are to be a wife to Carl, a consultant in medical devices, and a Mom to two recently married sons and their wonderful wives. Anita is also an active community volunteer and was the first women licensed basketball referee for men’s NCAA Division II Basketball.

MCLE Credit The NC Bar Association Foundation is an accredited CLE sponsor under the MCLE Regulations promulgated by the NC State Bar Board of Continuing Legal Education. This program is approved (but not sponsored) by the Board for the designated number of CLE hours. It is the responsibility of each attorney to maintain a record of his/her attendance at CLE programs for the NC State Bar annual report. MCLE credit is reported only if NC State Bar number is provided.

NCBA CLE Passports Passport holders exceeding the 24-hour limit for attorneys or the 12-hour limit for paralegals will be charged $75 per program.
