J-7K JIB

The J-7K Kevlar jib utilizes the best in sailmaking technology. With increased durability through Kevlar material and superior construction, this jib will not only last longer, but it will show unprecedented performance in big breeze. When the breeze softens, the J-7K is also able to provide an element of finesse which is crucial to light air Melges 24 racing. Complete with vertical battens, Harken clew blocks, vision windows and a water resistant roll bag, this is the most versatile sail on the Melges 24 circuit.

MAX RUNNER SPINNAKER

This sail is so successful as an overall, all-purpose spinnaker that competing sailmakers use it to fill their inventories. This sail has helped crown World Champions on multiple occasions and is the sail you need to get the bow of the Melges 24 out of the water and into planning mode.

The Max Runner is constructed using high quality AirX 650 material which holds the overall shape of the spinnaker much longer, while standing up to the rigors of Melges 24 racing.

POWER ZONE REACHER

The Melges 24 class allows 2 spinnakers to be carried on board and this sail is the perfect compliment to the Max Runner. Just like the Max Runner, the Power Zone Reacher is made with long lasting AirX 650 fabric. With a little flatter profile than its big brother, this sail is extremely fast in ultra light conditions or when the breeze is really pumping with big surf.

AP-3K KEVLAR MAINSAIL

The AP-3K mainsail is built race ready and prepared to win. This sail is made from North’s exclusive Clear Film Kevlar which provides maximum forgiveness and durability.

Designed with a wide range of venues in mind, the AP-3K excels in both the big waves and breeze of Key West, while also displaying the ability to crush the competition in flat water venues like that of Annapolis or St. Pete. The ability to provide a specific shape for varying conditions and unparalleled durability are what has made the AP-3K mainsail such a popular choice on the Melges 24 circuit.

KM-08 KEVLAR MAINSAIL

Our latest Melges 24 mainsail features a flatter profile and a tighter leach than the AP-3. This shape is very conducive to a lot of backstay tension which is very fast in the Melges 24 when the breeze blowing hard. The KM-08 mainsail is the best sail for big breeze, and big wave venues like Santa Cruz, Key West and Newport. In its debut in 2006, the KM-08 won the North American Championship where boat speed and performance were crucial. This sail is specifically designed to out perform the competition when forecast is for strong winds.
