Northern plywood is available in
Moisture Resistant (MR) and Boiling
Water Resistant (BWR) grades. Both
the grades are used for the interior
and exterior woodworking
application. This ISI marked M.R.
grade plywood is bonded with
Melamine Urea Formaldehyde
Synthetic Resin. While the BWR

temperature and pressure with
adequate timings to obtain
unmatched bonding.
Northern Block Boards are made in Moisture Resistant & Boiling Water Resistant Grade, duly bonded with
Melamine Urea Formaldehyde & Fortified Phenol Formaldehyde Synthetic Resin respectively.
Northern block board is a premium quality board with high resistant properties against borer and termite
attacks. All the three components of this block board i.e. Face Veneer, Core Veneer & wooden battens are
well matched. The wooden battens are thoroughly seasoned in scientifically run seasoning kiln plants and
then cut with great precision to obtain uniform thickness.
These battens are systematically arranged and utmost care is taken to avoid any extra gap between the

Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL) is an
engineered wood product that uses multiple
layers of thin wood assembled with
adhesives. It offers several advantages over
typical milled lumber: it is stronger,
straighter, and more uniform. It is much less
likely than conventional lumber to warp,
twist, bow, or shrink due to its composite
nature. Internally, it is a compact structure
which makes it highly stable dimensionally.
Made in a factory under controlled
specifications, LVL products allow users to
reduce the onsite labour. In the time to
come, we predict that the use of LVL will
widen up and it will find application in many
more new things.

Among the few good players in the market of Chequered ply in India, Northern Chequered plywood can be counted as one among the best. Chequered floor boards are high density exterior grade plywood produced under high heat & pressure using un-extended PF resin. The ply has a chequered pattern on its surface that comes from the wire mesh put during pressing. Because of high pressure the panel develops high density that sustains the rigours of flooring in public use. This not only eliminates the smooth surface of ordinary plywood but also makes it anti-slip plywood. The plywood combines enhanced mechanical properties with extreme wear-proof qualities, besides being resistant to corrosive agents. The basic purpose of making plywood which is anti-slip and anti-skid is to accommodate it in the application of

Compression Heating Cooling Process is used for the production of COMPREG Plywood which has good
mechanical properties with remarkable resistance to corrosion agents and is termite proof. In composing
process, the veneer layers are impregnated by thermosetting resin in to impregnator or spray process,
thereafter dry once again to control the moisture contents at low temperature hot air environment to
avoid the scorching through bend dryer.

Densified Ply
Advantages:
1) It is densified plywood thus
being more dense in structure,
it renders greater strength to
the woodworking.
2) This 100% BWR plywood has
greater resistance power to
fight against borers & termites.
In fact, the infusion of anti
termite borer chemical in the
glue line area of densified
plywood ensures that it remains

Northern marine plywood is specially
treated plywood that is designed to resist
rotting in a high-moisture environment. It
is manufactured with utmost care in the
supervision of technical experts with well
selected pieces of core and face veneers.
Further, the finished plywood is subjected
to proper chemical treatment with water-
soluble fixed type preservatives under
vacuum pressure to ensure protection
against wood destroying organism and to
make the product insects, borer, termites
and fungi free.
Being highly resistant plywood to changes
in weather and atmospheric conditions,
Marine plywood is used for all types of
