All transactions are subject to the company’s full terms of trading available on request.

OrdersWhen placing orders check you have included for all necessary cables, consumables, etc.All orders must be confirmed in writing by the person assuming responsibility for hired equipment.Any cancellation of booked equipment may incur a cancellation charge.

Hired EquipmentIt is the hirer’s responsibility to satisfy themselves equipment is as per delivery note.Notice of shortage or damage should be notified in writing within 24 hours. All equipment is electrically and mechanically tested prior to each hire.

Hire PeriodHire charges are based on a 7 day hire period. By prior agreement, where availability allows, this may be extended to a 10 day ‘theatre week’, Friday to week Monday (am).Additional days over 1 week are charged at 20% extra per day.Long & short term hire quotes are available on certain items. Ask for details.Equipment is deemed to be on hire from date of leaving our premises until it is checked back in.

DespatchWhere requested we can arrange for transport of hired equipment. Carriage charged extra.Notice of damage or shortage cannot be accepted if equipment is not checked on delivery. It is the hirer’s responsibility to arrange access for delivery/collections and to check delivery. Where staging or other heavy equipment is being delivered /collected by our transport the hirer is to provide assistance on site. Additional costs will be incurred if we have to provide labour other than driver.Failure of collection due to equipment not being dismantled or due to access problem will lead to additional hire and transport costs.

LampsAll failed lamps and spares must be returned for inspection, otherwise will be charged for.

Connectors & CablesAll cables are supplied coiled and taped and should be returned as such to avoid a coiling charge. Plugs & connectors should not be removed from equipment. Adaptors are available. A charge will be made for re-wiring / inspecting tampered connectors.

PaymentUnless a credit account has been established, payment is required on collection or prior to delivery of equipment, whichever applies.Minimum invoice values apply.Non – account customers will be asked to provide proof of identification.All customers may be asked to provide a suitable returnable deposit.

InsuranceWhilst in their possession, the hirer undertakes the responsibility for insuring the equipment against “All Risks” to full replacement value. Damaged or missing items will be charged for at full replacement cost.

Credit AccountsCredit accounts will be automatically suspended where statements show monies owing for more than 30 days and only re-opened at the company’s discretion.

DiscountsAny discounts offered are only applicable if payment is made within agreed terms.

PricesAll prices are subject to the addition of VAT at the rate ruling at time of invoice.
