MAGAZINE ADVERTS $150+GST for a full page (A5), $100+GST for a half page and $75+GST for ¼ page. This is an awesome price as the advertising will be in for the year.
MEMBERSHIP FEES: (allow 1-2 weeks for membership processing and issuing) Full Membership: $80.00 Social Membership: $60.00 Family Membership: $100.00 Junior Membership: $25.00 (+ $5.00 per child under 18years) (Under 18years of age) Also $50 of this membership fee is paid to Northland Club as we are corporate members. CLUB NIGHT discussions – •Rally of the North marshals needed, look further on in mag if you are keen to help on the day. •Timing equipment needs to be looked at again. Not enough people clued up on how it works. Competitors / helpers need to help out at events to get times done. Feel free to ask at other clubs, what they use and where to get timing equipment from. •Helpers For Events: it was discussed that more members need to help at different events. So it was decided that next season competing club members will be allocated to events as helpers. You will be given a chance to chose an event to help with but if you can’t chose you will be assigned to an event. •Rod Langdon, is standing down from being Secretary from this AGM. •We have been approached by the NZ Sports Club to have our Streetsprint and Doctors Hill hillclimb within there championship. • Prizegiving 10

JOBS: ALL COMMITTEE JOBS are up for grabs at the next AGM, 28th August 2013. See following page for job descriptions, a lot of these positions need to be filled for the club the run more smoothly. Please consider taking on a roll and taking the pressure off others.
COMMITTEE JOBS briefly outlines PRESIDENT Chairing of meetings, and general overseeing of the running of the Club. Committee members report back on ideas and decisions. President should know happenings to do with the Club. VICE PRESIDENT Chairing of meeting when President is absent, and to assist with the running of the Club. CLUB CAPTAIN Somebody who keeps a general eye on Committee members doing their jobs and giving help where necessary. Also being able to give information to anybody needing it. SECRETARY To handle all incoming and outgoing correspondence and to take minutes at all meetings. TREASURER To handle all incoming and outgoing money matters also to handle club investments and finances. COMMITTEE
MAGAZINE EDITORS To compile and distribute NCC magazine once a month. POINTS and RESULTS The gathering and sorting of all points and results. SCRUTINEER The inspection and checking of all vehicles prior to speed events or any time vehicles need to be checked before (or after) an event. SPEED COMMITTEE Ideally made up of three (or more) people, one whom should be in charge and on committee this person does visitation and organises permits the other two set up and run the event on the day. Job may be shared or swopped as seen fit. SPEED SECRETARY Person who applies for all permits, three months before the event. PUBLICITY Liaising with the local news papers and radio stations to advertise our coming events, collecting all results and getting these and a report to papers and/or radio stations immediately after every event. MOTORKHANAS In charge of organising venue, permit and event. AUTOCROSS In charge of organising venue, permit and event. EQUIPMENT In charge of maintenance and upkeep of club equipment.
The Committee is made up of individuals, but they all act as one body to run the Club

the rolls in hillclimbs, rallysprints etc need to be shared between club members so the same people aren’t doing it all the time.
Please look at the jobs below and contact the right person to get involved this way the club can call on different people.
SPEED EVENTS: PRE-EVENT ORGANISING – permit, supplementary regs, visitation, first
aid, event equipment, event helpers, toilets. Contact Grant Parkin or Neil Rodgers.
SETTING UP – all club members competing in that event need to turn up at 8am to setup radios, timing gear, tapping etc…
ENTRIES – taking competitor entries and entry fee, letting scrutineers know any info required. Contact Grant Parkin
TIMING – Inputting data into new timing programe, receiving start and finish times and inputting them. Contact Grant Parkin or Paul Rodgers. START LINE – starting cars with hockey stick. Contact Neil Rodgers.

Rally of the North, 17th of August, a couple months earlier than usual. What we need are some people who would be willing to help with block marshalling. Below is a map of the rally For every person from your club who is willing to help we will donate $20 to the club, so if 20 people are keen to help that is $400. A great day with a good turnout for entries and spectators. Apparently the workers at the Countdown supermarket next door were taking turns at having extra long breaks and watching from there upstairs staff room. Scotty Dinsdale from our Facebook page wrote “awesome day today can’t wait for the next one” Thank you to Layne Malshinger for helping to organise the event, and thanks to Paul and Monique Andrews for coming out to help set up and run event.
