Northridge Hospital FoundationThis year’s proceeds will benefit our Emergency (ED) & Trauma Departments with the expansion and renovation of our triage and lobby areas. Northridge Hospital Medical Center is one of only two adult trauma centers, and the only pediatric trauma center in the San Fernando Valley, serving the emergency needs of our community. Population health is the single greatest factor impacting ED use, efficiency, and expeditious, high-quality treatment of patients. With visits to our ED projected to increase to more than 96,000 patients per year by 2025, we are planning a redesigned ED flow process for triage and treatment of incoming patients with a focus on increased capacity.
