passing through abandoned flow chart to adjacent flow meter and new flow

chart. Re-route conduit and conductors between flow meter and flow chart as

required. See photograph, detail 2/E5.

1. Provide junction box on equipment rack below

panels. Bond EGCs from both circuits together

within box.

2. Provide junction box. Bond EGCs from both circuits

together within box. Coordinate location in the field.

Extend existing conduit and conductors from

existing light, receptacle, and heat trace to new

junction box. New heat trace to be circuited tosame circuit as existing.

3. Connect new Sludge Grinder Pump to Belt Press

Control panel as indicated. Coordinate with belt

press installer.

4. Reconnect existing conveyor motor as indicated.

Coordinate with belt press installer.

5. Provide new 70A breaker within existing 4X bucket

formerly containing VFD. Provide new 4X bucket

door. Provide engraved identification plate which

reads "MIXER 2 VFD".

6. Provide enclosed VFD with 3% output reactor. See

specifications.

7. Provide VFD cable within exising 1 1/4"

underground conduit if provided VFD cable does

not exceed 53% conduit fill per NEC Ch9T1. Also

pull a mandrel through conduit to verify integrity.

Where VFD cable provided is too large to fit within

existing 1 1/4" conduit or conduit integrity is poor,

provide new underground conduit per plans.

Indicate in bid whether new underground conduit is

required for provided VFD cable. Provide price for

new conduit as a bid alternate in the event existing

conduit is found to be unsuitable.

Provide conduit bends and fittings such that

manufacturer's specified minimum cable bend

radius is not exceeded either during or after

installation. Bends/turns may not be made withconduit bodies. Terminate shielding at the VFD and

the motor using glands or termination kits as

recommended by the manufacturer.

8. If existing ground rod is present and accessible,

bond to existing grounding rod. Otherwise, provide

new ground rod per ground rod detail. Bond

grounds from both filter panels (Filter 1 and Filter 2)

to new ground rod.

9. Provide new 1P-20A breaker within MPZ-A, with

GFPE (30 mA) per NEC 427.22 for light,

receptacle, and heat trace circuit. Verify existing

receptacle on circuit is GFCI (5 mA) and replace

receptacle if not.

10. Extend existing conduit as required.

11. Pull a mandrel through existing conduit to verify

integrity. Provide new conduit if required. Provide

new conduit price as bid alternate.
