Tattoo RemovalDue to the amount of people in the U.S. that have been receiving tattoos a new trend has emerged; TATTOO REMOVAL. (F.)

Tattoo removal options:

• Laser Treatments – The removal of tattoo pigments using lasers• Chemical Peel - Body treatment technique using a chemical solution• Dermabrasion – A surgical controlled abrasion of the upper layers of the skin• Salabrasion - Scrubbing the skin with salt• Cryosurgery - Extreme cold to destroy abnormal tissue • Excision – Surgically removing the tattoo (D.)

All these treatments are more expensive & painful than the actual application of the tattoo.

Disadvantages of Laser Tattoo Removal :

• Expensive (cost up to $10,000) (E.)• Painful (more painful than receiving the actual tattoo) (A.)• Risky (can damage & scar the skin) (A.)

65 million + spent annually on Laser tattoo removal alone. (G.)

Topical Tattoo Removal• Least expensive tattoo removal option• Least painful tattoo removal method• Will not damage or scar the skin• Shown to be effective • Able to be used at home• Works on black/grey & color tattoos

How does it work?Tattoo removal creams work by helping bring the tattooed layers of skin closer to the surface so the ink will fade. The best formulations are able to prevent new layers of skin from developing pigment (color). The combination of these two actions is why tattoo removal creams have become so popular over the last few years.
