TRANSCRIPT
Note to all Re: Trip Chaperone Expectations Some of the following procedures may seem over protective given the age group of our players but we must remember that some of our guests may be visiting a city for the first time. An over all street sense and sense of direction may not be a developed skill for some. Large crowds may be anxiety producing for some players. Readily adapting to new circumstances may not be second nature to some of our guests. Let’s work together to make our trips and outings safe and enjoyable for all. *Assign number for count off. Twins stay together
Roll call must be taken at the beginning of each trip prior to entering the transit. Each player will be assigned a number on Saturday Oct. 7th which they will keep for the entire week and be asked to recite during roll call. Trip Leaders will have the entire list of players names. * if your child is not attending an event or outing please text the trip leader the evening before, even if you have already shared that information by e-mail. We’ve had so many emails to date. We want to make sure that no player is left behind or that the group is not held up due to miscommunication. Thanks!
Additionally, prior to entering the transit, each chaperone must be assigned a specific group of students that they are responsible for throughout the trip. Start to Finish.
Please adapt a buddy system when players are going to and returning from public bathrooms or venturing off to buy food or souvenirs.
Please point out a meeting place to your players at each location.
Please provide each player with the card supplied that has emergency cell numbers on it with safety pin to apply to inside of jersey or hoodie pocket.
* You must provide medical concerns and medication/ allergy alerts to leaf trip leader.
Thank you so much!
