www.jktenders.gov.in from 10.00 A.M on 12-08-16.

a. The bids shall be deposited in electronic format on the website www.jktenders.gov.in from 14-08-2016 to 27-08-2016 up to 1400 hrs.

b. The complete bidding process will be on line. c. Technical bids of bidders shall be opened on line in the office of the

Chief Project Engineer, Lower Kalnai HEP at Thathri, Doda on 29-08-2016 at 1400 hrs.

3. Bid documents can be seen at and downloaded from the website

www.jktender.gov.in. Bid documents contain qualifying criteria for bidders, specifications, bill of quantities, conditions and other details.

4. The site for execution of the works is available. 5. Bids must be accompanied by cost of tender document and bid

security (EMD) as specified in column 5 & 6 of the table payable at Kishtwar pledged in favour of Chief Pay & Accounts Officer, JKSPDC Kishtwar. Bid security will have to be in any one of the forms as specified in the bidding documents and shall have to be valid for six months or more from the opening of the financial Bid. The cost of downloaded tender documents in the form of DD shall be submitted in separate envelope with cover marking cost of documents.

a. The original instruments in respect of cost of documents, EMD and relevant technical bid documents etc. must be delivered to the Chief Project Engineer Lower Kalnai HEP Thathri (near J&K Bank Thathri) on or before 28-08-2016 up to 1400 hrs. If the office happens to be closed on the date of receipt as specified, the EMD, document fee will be received on the next working day at the same time and venue.

6. The bid for the work shall remain open for acceptance for a period of 90 days from the date of opening of bids. If any bidder / tenderer withdraws his bid / tender before the said period or makes any modifications in the terms and conditions of the bid, the said earnest money shall stand forfeited.

7. No Engineer of Gazetted rank or other Gazetted officer employed in Engineering or Administrative duties in an Engineering Department of the State Government is allowed to work as Contractor for a period of two years after his retirement from government services without permission of the Government. This contract is liable to be cancelled if either the Contractor or any of his employees is found at any time to be such a person who had not obtained the permission of the government as aforesaid before submission of the tender or engagement in the contractor’s service.

8. Other details can be seen in the bidding documents. 9. In case the work is not started within the time period fixed, the

allotment shall be treated as automatically cancelled and no correspondence shall be made for the same & CDR will be forfeited without any information.

10. The work shall have to be completed in stipulated period as envisaged in the NIT failing which penalty as deemed appropriate by the Engineer in Charge shall be enforced subject to a maximum of 10% of the cost of the work.

11. The Contractor should have at least completed one similar work (Construction of building, etc) costing not less than Rs. 25.00 Lac during any one of the last three years and the work should have been successfully completed. A certificate from the concerned authority not below the rank of an Executive Engineer shall have to be deposited in the Technical bid.

12. The Tenderer should have achieved financial turn over to the tune of Rs.25.00 Lac (Avg) during each of the last three years (Evidence to be enclosed in the Technical Bid)
