• Examine the origins of conflict in Rwanda; the social, human, psychological, and economic impacts of genocide; and the challenges and opportunities of post-conflict restoration

• Field visits to genocide memorials, museums, civil society organizations, and commissions working toward reconciliation are an essential part of the program

• 2 week excursion to Northern Uganda to learn about the Lord’s Resistance Army

For all study abroad programs, you are assessed semester ND tuition, the equivalent of the on-campus room and board fee, and a study abroad fee of $750
