Anniversary of the Mexican Revolution of

Celebration• To celebrate the day the

people cook food representing the Mexican flag using green, red, and white.

• Majority of people get the day off from work.

• Parade through the streets with acrobats and performers and a color guard to remember the heroes.

• Porfirio Diáz was a vicious dictator in Mexico. The unhappiest of all people were the peasants and labor workers. To defend these two groups Ricardo Flores Magón created the Mexican liberal party. Flores Magón was then persecuted by Porfirio's group and later died in a American prison. That was the spark to the revolution.

• Me gustaría participar en las festividades de este día de fiesta. Sin embargo, el propio día de fiesta no apeal para mí, porque soy un americano. Esta fiesta parece muy divertido. e históricamente importante. Pero para alguien que no es de backroung mexicana esta fiesta es de poca importancia. Me gusta ir de fiesta con el pueblo mexicano, sin embargo.
