Teacher Luncheon: Our teacher’s luncheon was a great success!!! A special thanks to all who donated items to make the day nice for our HNMS faculty and staff! We’re already planning our next teacher luncheon. Book Fair: What a great turnout for the fall book fair!! A total of $1,850.00 profit was raised enabling the purchase of 11 kindle HD tablets (to bring our set up to a class set of 22 – we had 11 already) and the purchase of a switcher and another electronic device needed for ITV. This was the largest book fair we ever had at HNMS! Family Night: A great time was had by all at the HNMS Family Night! PTSA provided an outdoor movie screen and played Remember the Titans under the stars while families played volleyball and enjoyed free pizza and soda. Cookie Dough Fundraiser A special thanks to everyone that participated in our cookie dough fundraiser! We had such a great response and exceeded our initial goal of $32,000 and raised $33,885.00!!! The students had a great time on the limo ride for pizza and volleyball and watching the staff participate in fun activities.

Student Recognition Day: Student Recognition Day on November 8th recognized all Top Dogs (straight A students) and Big Dogs (A and B students) and included freshly made smoothies during lunch from Tropical Smoothie and coupons from Waffle House, Culvers and Fudpuckers. Way to go students – keep up the good work!
