SNOW REMOVAL SERVICESIf you wish to have State Manufactured Homes plow and shovel, please call Bud at the office to sign up(883-2512). If you were signed up last year, you must sign up again for this year. Our services includeplowing, and can include shoveling a path to the front door (Please note: does not and cannot includeshoveling the entire deck), shoveling a path to your fuel tank, and shoveling a path to your shed.Depending on the severity of the storm, paths to the fuel tank and shed may not get done until thefollowing day. In order for us to shovel, you be signed up for plowing services. The officewill mail you an invoice the first week of each month for the previous month’s charges. Remember, justbecause you were signed up last year, doesn’t mean you are signed up for this year. You mustcall the office and be added to the list.

Community Snow RemovalGuidelines

Snow season is fast approaching—do your best to help us help you by following thesesimple guidelines:

1-Please park your car as far in your driveway as possible. Do not park at the end of your driveway toavoid snow overflowing from the plow truck as it passes. The streets must be cleared.

2-Plowing of driveways and shoveling starts only after the streets are plowed. If you hire us to plow andyou need to leave early for work, please let us know at the office and we will do our best to get you outas soon as possible!

3-You must make prior arrangements (by calling Bud at the office 883-2512) for us to plow andshovel. These arrangements must be made with the office no later than November 11th. Wecannot change the list at every storm. If you want to cancel the plowing agreement, that is finebut you cannot be added back on later.

4-If you try shoveling yourself and it does not work out, you can call the office and be added to the listfor the rest of the winter. We will not plow or shovel for a single storm.

5-Please do not stop the plow trucks and ask them to plow or shovel. They have a list provided by theoffice and cannot add people or accept money. Again, any and all changes must be made through theoffice.

6- If you have a complaint or a compliment about the plowing, please call Theresa or Tina (883-2512).

7-When you hire an outside plow person to plow or shovel, please instruct them not to put the snowinto the street. It will only get plowed back, and you will be charged if we observe this happening.

8-If snow is predicted for a Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning, trash pick-up will be on Thursday. We will call to notify you, using our automatic call system, if we change the day trash will be picked up.
