Editor’s Desk

Dear Friends, November 2016 was a eventful one with meetings, programs and fellowship. In one of the meetings, we had club members children, who are budding entrepreneurs and professionals talk about their work. We wish them great success in their endeavors. We had 2 firesides hosted by Shabbir Gabajiwala and Prakash Chawla which were very well attended. The guest speakers were Paul George from RC of Bombay who spoke of YCMA and Rotary and Akshay Mehta from RC of Queens Necklace, who talked about TRF giving. On 26th and 27th November, our club had its first overnight MUNA at Orritel Hotel, Talegaon, attended by over 80 Retractors from across the district. Thanks to Director Suneel Uttamchandani, Hiten Mahimtura , Jayesh Vora, Rupen Doshi and Ameet Barot for organizing the event and Suneel, Jayesh and Sailesh Rajda who attended the event. It was very highly appreciated by the rotaractors. Special thanks to Amith Dholakia for giving his hotel at very concessional rates. Our Annes organized the monthly visit to the Shephards old age home. Thanks to Seema and Mariya. We had the monthly vocational skill training at YMCA organized by Anns Gunita Chaddha and Yakuta. We also had our monthly food donation day at Jalaram trust organized by Bal and Paresh.

“The eyesight for an eagle is what thought is to a man.”– Dejan Stojanovic So let’s focus on our goals and sharpen our thoughts, with a focussed vision.Pierites have the PANACHE of the Eagle. We need to accomplish and perfect our flight in service and fellowship and let our club be worthy of this title.

We have put together Panache with great passion and it will be a vehicle for promoting communication among all members of the club and stimulate camaraderie assimilating new members and enthuse the old ones through this magazine. We encourage participation from Members & Annes for content, articles, gossip, news and announcements about achievements and accomplishments of members and their families to ensure we have no strangers only and only friends in this club.
