What a challenging year for us all. I’m sure many, if not all of us, will be glad to see the end of 2020. But before that happens, please join ASPE’s Digital Experience on De-cember 1 – 3 by registering at ex-po.aspe.org. Also, in case you missed the news release, TMB Publishing, the parent company of Plumbing Engineer, and ASPE have parted ways as of October
31st and they are no longer the official publication for the Society. Look for an expanded version of ASPEPipeline in the weeks to come. We hope you’ll join us on Thursday, November 19th for our next virtual education meeting that will re-view “Pathogen Production Water Control”, pre-sented by Will Sims of Oasis Coolers. Remember, it is FREE to attend this presentation. Additionally, since the Philly ASPE Chapter will not be hosting our holiday party this year due to the pandemic and our concerns about your health & safety, we are investigating hosting a lunchtime vir-tual educational meeting in the middle of Decem-ber. Please look for this announcement soon. This is another opportunity for you to attain more knowledge about the latest industry products and gain another CEU. Happy Thanksgiving from your extended Philly ASPE family!

TECHNICAL CORNER Happy Thanksgiving fellow ASPE members! This month we will be
meeting on the third Thursday of the month which will be on 11/19.
The topic will be “Pathogen Production Water Control” as presented
by Will Sims of Oasis Water Coolers.
Hopefully, our online sessions are working for you. If you have any
comments relative to the platform, content and time please let the
Board know as we are working diligently to provide the best alternate
to our traditional in person dinner meetings. The zoom meetings do
qualify for CEUs and certificates are issued immediately after the
meeting. We have had great turn outs so far so please take the opportunity to attend.
We are also looking to schedule speakers for the 2020-21 calendar year. We are looking for
candidates that will be able to participate in person as we are optimistic that early next year, we
will be able to safely begin meeting and sharing comradery as well as gaining some industry
knowledge.

Chapter leaders when you are stumped on the job and ask for help. More times

sist you with your problem. If they can’t help… kick it up to the Region Direc-
tor, and they will find you the help you need. ASPE members treat other mem-
bers just like family; it’s our single most valuable membership benefit.

AFFILIATES CORNER Please join us Thursday November 19th at 6:00 pm for the Virtual Technical Dinner Meet-ing. Will Sims with Oasis Water Coolers will present on the topic of Pathogen Production Water Control.
A pathogen is an organism that produces a disease. Fecal contamination of water can intro-duce a variety of pathogens into the waterways, including bacteria, viruses, protozoa and parasitic worms. A very well-known pathogenic bacteria is salmonella. If this topic interest you, please join us.
ASPE has suspended the tabletop presentations until we resume the in-person meetings. Once resumed for just $50.00 for members and $100.00 for non-members, you can reserve a tabletop to show your new products to those in attendance. You also get a featured spot during the meeting to present your products. If you’re interest-ed, please email me at my address below to reserve a spot.
