Offertory Collection - This weekend there is a weekly

collection and a second collection for Retired Religious and

Diocesan Retired Priests. Next weekend there is a weekly

collection and a second collection for Religious Education.

The Sanctuary Lamp acknowledging the Real Presence of

Christ in the tabernacle is burning this week in memory of

Tom Levendusky by Family.

Deepest sympathy to Sandra Sarady on the death of her

husband, Gregory Sarady. May the angels lead him into

paradise, may the martyrs come to welcome him and take him to

the holy city, the new and eternal Jerusalem.

This weekend, November 2/3 students from Aquinas

Academy will be selling lottery calendars at Mass. The

calendars feature $14,000 in prize money and winning

student artwork. The calendars cost $25 and all proceeds

benefit Aquinas Academy.

Masses for 2020 are now being accepted. Each family is

permitted one (1) Mass, either a weekday or weekend

Mass. Also each deceased person is only permitted one (1)

Mass per calendar year. Masses will only be accepted via

the collection or U.S. Mail. Please write your intention

along with the date requested and payment must be

included and placed in an envelope with ‘Masses’ written

on the outside of the envelope. The office will then call you

and confirm the date of the Mass as they are scheduled.

Saint Bruno Parish Directories are now available for

purchase. This is your chance to purchase a directory if you

haven’t already. The cost is $10.00.

Youth Ministry Faith Night will be held on Sunday,

November 3 at Saint Paul Church. High school students

will meet from 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. and junior high

students will meet from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

The Knights of Columbus Council 1480, Greensburg, are

asking that all baby bottles be returned as soon as possible

either to an Usher at Mass or to the Parish Office. Thank

you for your support of LIFE!

A bus trip to Rivers Casino is being planned for Monday,

December 2 leaving Saint Bruno parking lot at 10:00 a.m.

and returning in the evening. The cost is $20.00. Please call

Georgia Trainer, (724-953-5654) for more information or to

make your reservation. You must have a valid driver’s

license or ID showing you are 21 or older.

Winner Winner, Chicken Dinner! A huge Thank You

to all who helped make the Saint Bruno Chicken Dinner a

great success. Whether you came and enjoyed a meal,

grabbed takeout dinners, donated items or purchased

tickets for the auction baskets, or helped with the cook-

ing, serving, and cleanup, your contribution is very im-

portant to the success of our parish. We made a profit of

approximately $2,400.00 and received many compliments

on the tasty dinners and enjoyable atmosphere of food

and fellowship. Special thanks to John and Karen Lynch

for heading up the effort, and congratulations on a job

well done.

The Parish Office will be closed on Monday,

November 11 for Veteran’s Day. Also there

will be no Adoration on that day.

The Saint Vincent Camerata will present “Been in the

Storm So Long- A Choral Prayer in Troubled Times” at the

Saint Vincent Basilica on Saturday, November 9. Organ-

ist Neil Stahurski will accompany the Camerata; Father

Stephen Concordia, O.S.B. will conduct the 7:30 p.m. per-

mation. Admission is free for students. The concert will

also be performed at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, November 8 at

Church of The Assumption in Bellevue, Pittsburgh.

Saint Paul Parish, Greensburg, will host the annual Ro-

sary Altar Society Christmas sale November 14-16 at the

parish. The sale will feature Christmas gift items, artificial

trees and ornaments, and holiday home décor; includes

basket raffles, dollar tables and a bake sale. Dates and

Saint Vincent College, Latrobe, will hold Get Acquaint-

ed Day Open Houses for prospective students and their

families Monday, November 11 and Saturday, January

25 (2020). The day will include presentations on academ-

ics, admission procedures, financial aid and college life,

tours, and opportunities to meet with faculty, coaches

and advisers of clubs and organizations. Registration

2019 Craft Show - Crafters are needed for an upcoming

craft show that will be held on Saturday, November 16,

from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Our Lady of Grace Church. The

fee is $40.00 per table and $30.00 for a space. The craft

show is being co-sponsored by the Rosary Altar Societies

of the partner parishes of Our Lady of Grace Church

(Greensburg) and Saint Benedict Church

“Pray All Ways – Pray Always,” - an evening of the art

and stories of Edward Hays in concert, will be held No-

vember 17 at Christ Our Shepherd Center. The evening

is a benefit for the Diocesan Heritage Center and features

the Diocesan Choir and Chamber Orchestra under the

direction of Thomas Octave, diocesan director of sacred

music; the Saint Vincent Seminary Schola under the di-

rection of Benedictine Father Cyprian Constantine; the

Christ the Divine Teacher School Choir; actor Tim Hart-

man and artist Tom Franzak. The exhibit of Hays’ art

opens at 5 p.m. with a reception at 5:30 p.m. and the con-
