Children’s Day in India is celebrated every year on 14th of november to increase the awareness towards the rights, care and education of children. Children are adorable and shine same like the Precious Pearls. Children are the God Gifts, they are Innocent, Admirable, Pure and loved by everyone. So, to make our Parents aware about the importance of children Rights and Education and to make our students happy and cheerful, JUNIOR DPS will celebrate Children’s day with extreme zeal and zest. Chhath Pooja It’s an ancient Hindu vedic festival historically native to the Indian subcontinent more specifically, the Indian states of Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Uttar pradesh and West Bengal as well as The Madhesh region of Nepal. This festival is dedicated to the sun god. JDPS Family will celebrate this festival in order to promote well being, development and the prosperity of human beings. Devotees all over India thank the Sun God for a period of 4 days, they also observe the fast during this festival called Vrati. Guru Nanak Jayanti, the Foremost of all the Gurupurabs of the 10 sikh Gurus, is the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev, the founder of the sikh faith. Main significance of this festival is to establish a religion based on a single god who is the eternal truth. The festive event of Guru Nanak Jayanti includes the 3 day Akhand Path. On the main day, The Granth Sahib is ornamented with flowers, religious hymns from the granth sahib are sung throughout the procession, followed by a get together for a community lunch, called Langar. Guru Nanak Jayanti ‘Take Lots of time for laughter’ Kids need belly laughs set a side time for roughhousing and goofiness. Laughter helps kids feel safe, and helps them transition when they have to leave you, because they feel connected. This month we will be learning about the importance of giving Love, Attention and Affection, followed by developing sense of Friendliness and Team spirit. Eid-E-Milad Eid Milad-Un-Nabi, also known as Mawlid and Eid-E-Milad is the day dedicated to the teachings of Mohammad Prophet and is celebrated across the country. The occasion is believed to be the birthday of The Prophet who is referred to as the messenger of God in Islam. As per the tradition, JDPS family will narrate stories to kids based on the life of The Prophet Mohammad, followed by lighting lamps and decorating our surroundings. The motive behind this celebration is to aware the students about helping the needy and doing charity to the underprivileged. 2019-2020 November, 11th month of the year, there is plenty to enjoy and feel about. There’s the Autumn Weather, the Christmas planning and very obvious Children’s Day Celebration. Cold weather is about to drop in and one can’t wait to use there warm Clothes and you also get to see the beautiful color change!!!
