The National Breed Show i EnglandJeg nåede desværre ikke til England til The Natio-nal Breed Show – det ville jeg ellers gerne haveværet. Tingene blev for hektiske, da jeg kortforinden kom hjem fra en kort undervisningsstilling iAfrika.Jeg har prøvet at følge med på hjemmesiden:www.brittishspottedponysociety.co.uk, og resulta-terne er netop kommet på. Hvis nogle af læsernehar nogle fotos, som jeg må bringe eller nogleresultater, som jeg kan bringe, så er det megetvelkomment.

Heldigvis har jeg fået andre nyheder med de mestfantastiske fotos fra England – så glæd jer.

Kåring i VestbirkJeg bringer også resultater fra kåringen og følskuei Vestbirk. Det blev en stor samling efter pony-hoppen Broomells Mannequin, som blev BIS (Bestin Show). Samlingen fik 8 points og sølvmedalje.

Planen for efteråretMin plan var at bringe ny fra materialeprøven,pointsbedømmelsen og måske skuet på Sjælland.Jeg er imidlertid kommet til skade med en fod,således at jeg pt. går med krykker. Derfor må jegformentlig skære voldsomt ned på mine ambitioneri forhold til Pony på Pletten.

Derfor vil det være ekstra dejligt, om nogle af jer vilsende fotos (som jeg må bruge) og små historier/resultater mm. om jeres dyr.

Jeg vil være meget ked af, hvis internetavisenskulle gå i dvale pga. mangel på stof.

The National Breed Show in EnglandUnfortunately I didn’t manage to go to The NationalBreed Show – even though I would have loved to bethere. I didn’t have enough time to manage everythingcause I came back from Africa just a few day prior(after having instructed there).

The results has just been published on the homepage:www.brittishspottedponysociety.co.uk,. If any of youhave results with pedigree or photos as I can bring –please feel free to send them to me.

Luckily I have got other British news and photos for you– please look forward to that.

Grading in Vestbirk (DK)I do bring results from the grading and foal show inVestbirk. A big gathering after the pony mare BroomellsMannequin was BIS (Best in Show). The gathering got8 points in all over conformation and a silver medal.

My plans for the autumnI would love to bring you news from as much aspossibly. Stallions licensing, performance test and theshow in Roskilde. I’m not sure I’m able to, as I haveinjured my foot and I walk on crutches at the moments.Also I have to keep the foot up as much as possibly, solong transports are a problem (also).

So please send me photos (as I allowed to bringwithout violating some copyrights) and small storiesabout your ponies and results and, and, and….

It would be sad if the internet magazine will go to sleepcaused to lack of news.

Broomells Sun UpRonnie Jones fra Cornwall i Sydengland og hingstenBroomells Sun Up sikrede sig titlen som Supreme Minia-ture Horse Champion til the Royal Internatinal HorseShow i Hickstead i starten af august.

Broomells Sun Up blev født i 2000 hos Mary Bassett,Broomells Stutteriet I Devon, England. Han er efter legen-dariske og ny afdøde Wantsley White Surrey (hvidfødt) ogmoderen Bannbridge Lorraine (ensfarvet).Ronnie Jones købte ham, da han blev vænnet fra som føl.

Siden har Broomells Sun Up vundet 26 mesterskaber oget utal af andre priser. Det er både i plettede klasser og påtværs af racerne, at han har vundet. Sun Ups dejligebevægelse har flere gange været det, der har gjort for-skellen. I øvrigt en bevægelse, som han har fået fra sinfader, såvel som mange af de andre afkom, somWantsley White Surrey har produceret gennem tiderne.

Broomells Sun UpRonnie Jones from Cornwall in Southern England andthe stallion Broomells Sun Up was Supreme MiniatureHorse Champion at the Royal Internatinal Horse Showin Hickstead in the beginning of August.

In 2000 Broomells Sun Up was born at the BroomellsStud, Devon, England owned by Ms. Mary Bassett. Heis by the legendary, late Wantsley White Surrey(fewspotted) out of Bannbridge Lorraine (solidcoloured).Ms. Ronnie Jones bought him, when he was weaned.

Since then Broomells Sun Up has been champion for26 times and had won a lot of other prizes. He haswon both in “spotted classes” and miniature classes.His wonderful movement have done the differentmany times. He has got the movement from the sire,as well as Wantsley White Surrey has given thewonderful movement to a lot off other foals during thetimes.

Jyllandskåringen af hopper og følskue blev i året kæmpestort arrangement med masser aftilmeldte dyr. Vanen tro var de fleste storeheste. Det blev holdt den 1. august 2010.

På ponysiden var der tilmeldt 4 ponyføl, 9hopper og en stor samling efter en hoppe.

Jeg nåede ikke at se så meget, da jeg havdetravlt med at deltage i samlingen. Resultaternebringes efterfølgende.

Samlingen er efter Broomells Mannequin. Huner født i 2001 på Broomells Stutteriet, Devon,England hos Mary Bassett. Jeg havde i læn-gere tid været på stutteriet, og ville gerne haveet par hoppeføl til min egen ponyavl. Valgetfaldt på Mannequin og Broomells Sea Mairi.

The grading in Jut land was a huge show with alot of Knabstruppers. As usually most of themwere big horses. It was held on the 1st of August2010.

4 pony foals, 9 mares and a big gathering after amare entered the show.

I didn’t have time to see most of if, cause I had alot to do with the gathering.

The gathering is out of Broomells Mannequin.She is born I 2001 on Broomells Stud, Devon,England owned by Ms. Mary Bassett. I had spendquiet a lot of time on the stud and would like twofillies for my own breed. I choose Mannequin andBroomells Sea Mairi.

De kom til mig i starten af oktober, en kold ogblæsende aften. Det var et par trætte og bangesmå føl, der blev læsset af. Over årene har detaget revanche ved at udvikle sig til et par selv-stændige madammer (i ordets bedste betydning)med masser af selvtillid.

Mannequin har fået fire føl (alle efter NorkronsLotus KNN 124) hos mig – det var de fire isamlingen. Hun blev solgt ifolet med endnu enhelbror. Det blev til Duncans Kasmir, og i århavde hun hoppeføllet, Stald Buch’s Divinettaefter Aatrupgaards Thor KNN 169.

Mannequin, der nu er ejet af Heidi Buch fikglæde af den lange tur fra Sjælland til Jylland,da samlingen fik 8 i helhed, sølvmedalje og blevBest in Show.

They arrived to my place in the beginning ofOctober 2001 on a cold and windy evening. Theywere exhausted and afraid of the world, when theyarrived after the long journey. During the years theyhave changed into independent madams (meant inthe most possibly way) with a lot of self-confidence.

Mannequin gave birth to 4 foals at my stud (all byNorkrons Lotus KNN 124) – that were the 4offspring in the gathering. When she was sold shewas in foal with the fifth full brother – DuncansKasmir and this year she has given birth to the filly,Stald Buch’s Divinetta by Aastrupgaards Thor KNN169.

Mannequin is now owned by Ms. Heidi Buch andafter the long journey from Zeeland to Jut land itwas a little extra to get 8 points, a silver medal forthe gathering and Best in Show.

Norrings Bentley i hopla. Han har avlsgodkendelse ogskal gå materialprøve i september.The licensed stallion Norrings Bentley full of energy.In September he has to do his ridingtest.
