With upward revision of interest rate on FCNR deposits, our rates are now very competitive in the market. We request you to take benefit by remitting and depositing in FCNR accounts. Strengthening of Foreign currencies i.e. USD, EURO, AED, and POUND has also opened an opportunity for NRI's to remit foreign currency to India and place the amounts in NRE Rupee term deposits, which will entitle them to more INR per unit of foreign currency.

LIABILITIES (DEPOSITS)
1. NRO (Non Resident Ordinary): Saving, Current,
Recurring Deposit(RD) and Fixed Deposit(FD) available
for our customer. Interest earned is taxable.
2. NRE (Non Resident External): Saving, Current,
Recurring Deposit(RD) and Fixed Deposit(FD) available
for our customer. No tax will be deducted on Principal
& interest earned.
3. FCNR (Foreign Currency Non Resident Term deposit):
It is available for 12 to 60 months in six denominated
currencies i.e. USD, GBP, EUR,JPY,CAD and AUD. No
tax will be deducted on Principal & interest earned.
4. RLFCD (Rupee Linked Foreign Currency Deposits): It
is available for 12//24/36 months Forward contract
agreement. Minimum USD 10,000 or its equivalent in
any convertible currency including INR Equivalent. The
deposit receipt shall be issued in any of denominated
foreign currencies i.e. USD, GBP, EUR JPY CAD and
AUD. Source of Funds -Either from existing NRE/FCNR
account or fresh inward remittance from abroad
through normal banking channel.
5. Baroda Advantage Non Callable Term Deposit: This is
a Term Deposit Product wherein Depositor gets
differential rate of interest over Normal Fixed Deposit
rate for the deposit of ̀ 15.01 lacs and below ̀ 2 crores.
Premature payment is not available.
6. RFC (Resident Foreign Currency Account): When a
Non Resident Indian becomes Resident he can
maintain and retain the account. RFC scheme has been
formulated by the RBI to facilitate the returning
NRIs/PIOs to open and maintain foreign currency
accounts with banks in India.
7. PIS (Portfolio Investment Scheme) / Demat account:
Under this Scheme, NRIs are eligible to purchase
Shares/Convertible Debentures of Indian companies
through SEBI approved main Broker through Stock
Exchanges in India.

ASSETS (ADVANCES)
1. LABOD: Loan against our Bank's own deposit facility
available against NRE/NRO/FCNR. Upto 90% loan can
be granted against the NRE/NRO/FCNR Term Deposit
amount.
2. Baroda Housing Loan: NRIs can avail housing loan for
construction of house / purchase of flat.
Quantum of loan - Minimum amount at `5.00 lac and
Maximum of `10.00 crore (Rural/Semi-Urban `1.00
crore, Urban `3.00 crore and, Mumbai `10 crores,
Other metros ̀ 5.00 crores
3. Baroda Car Loan: Competitive rate of Interest, Higher
amount of eligibility upto `100.00 Lacs, Longer tenure
upto -84- Months, Finance upto 90% of On Road Price
(On-Road price includes Registration)
4. Baroda Mortgage Loan: Any NRI between ages of 21
years and 60 years, having steady job abroad in a
reputed company holding a valid job contract / work
permit or should be a self-employed professional with
minimum gross annual income of `60000- is eligible
for mortgage loan
Quantum of loan- minimum amount `1-lac and
maximum of ̀ 200- lacs

your registered email as per bank's record.
