Introduction

Pre Launch Optimization Process has been defined in order to achieve the following goals

•To have a well defined approach towards RF Network Rollout.

•To ensure a Quality network handover to Customer.

•To Define Role and Responsibilities of Profiles involved in Radio

Network Optimization of Cluster.

KEY CHANGES IN THE PROCESS AS PER NEW SDU STRUCTURE

•This process is meant for the Green field Rollout.

•In future, if any green field rollout takes place, the existing SDU setup isgoing to support their respective responsibilities as per the documentedprocess.

ToolsThe following tools are going to be associated with PLO Process.

• Drive Test Tools

• GPS

• Drive Test Kit

• Post Processing Analyzer

• Phones

• External Antennas (If Applicable)

• Site+

• All the Site Configuration changes during the Pre-Launch Optimization should be initiated in Site+.

• At the end of the successful Pre-Launch optimization, Site+ should reflect the correct site configuration data.

• All the Documentation pertaining to the PLO Process (Cluster design, DT route plan, PLO WCC report etc.) should be uploaded on to the site plus tool for future references.

Cluster PLO Report

The final Cluster Sign off Report should capture the

following items.• The Agreed Cluster & Drive Test Route Design signed by Customer.

• List of the AT sites of the cluster among the total cluster sites with there respective AT certificates.

• Alarm Log of the Sites to justify that there were no alarms during PLO.

• Drive Test Log and the record of Optimization activities.

• Exclusion Justification Report if any dully signed by customer.

• Final Cluster Sites KPI report with Drive test Plots.
