What have we learnt

New audiences are very interested in being volunteers, visitors, members and staff.

We need a local offer.We need to create a warm welcome at our properties.We need to take time to develop new relationshipsWe need to create effective models of partnership working.We need to develop new areas of expertise, awareness and understanding.We need to diversify the work force an volunteer baseChange requires strong leadership.Audience segmentation works – but also that engaging in cultural and natural heritage is intergeneration and intercultural.People want to learn.People want to contribute to our cause.
