winners in social audience in social networks. In the
top 10 sportive profiles in social network followers
increase during this month we can find 7 athletes, 2
teams and 1 competition.
If we talk about sports, soccer is the clear winner,
80% of the top ten play soccer. Only Andy Murray

Soccer is clearly the sport with more athletes in the
ranking. The athlete who gained more followers
during July was Neymar, with 1,484,488 new
followers in his social network profiles, which is
roughly a 7.8 % increase over the previous month.
Surely, this is due to his signing to FC Barcelona.
Another big player during this month was Andy
Murray. The tennis player was the winner of the
Wimbledon tournment and this made him grow his
social network subscriptors in 1,168,838 this month,
which stands for 45.7% increase in followers over
the previous month.

Soccer controls the ranking of teams who havegained more social followers during July. The onlyteam that's not a soccer club in the top 10 is MiamiHeat.
Real Madrid (#1) and FC Barcelona (#2) lead theranking of teams that gained more followers. Theyare also the teams with more social fans in theworld, and this is not likely to change anytime soon.
PSG (Paris Saint Germain) has grown a 6.5% andlooks like it can achieve the same status in the socialnetworks as in the sportive level.

- Miami Heat have grown a27.7% thanks to winning theNBA
- Looks like the English PremierLeague are putting lots ofeffort to have as manyfollowers as the two Spanishgiants

The three competitions that had a biggest increase
during July haven't had any kind of sportive activity:
UEFA champions League, NBA and the Premier
League. Looks like the guys and girls made a good
job at their offices, and this will allow the new
season to start with a biggest social audience.
The Tour de France has celebrated it's 100th edition
as the biggest international cyclism competition. The
French event has used the opportunity well and it
has had a 20% increase in followers.

- The Tour de France hasincreased an 82.3% in twitter.It still has a pretty small socialaudience compared to othercompetitions
- UEFA Champions League hasgrown a 50% in Twitter, theyare getting ready a new seasonwith lots of features
- NBA is still the biggestcompetition in Twitter

- ATP (Tennis) has a sustainedgrowth in Facebook, and is oneof the biggest competitions inthis social network
