No matter how good a Business Analytics solution may be, it is only a success when the end-users express that the solution offers added value. Training and coaching play a crucial role in the acceptance and optimal usage of any Business Analytics solution.

Training starts with a training plan at a project’s start, not at the end, since it is a key success factor to a project’s results. After project delivery, education should continue to ensure that users gain and develop the knowledge and skills they need.

Numius Academy develops and executes a training plan tailored to your company’s needs. Using our standard modules we can quickly customize our training material, based on your applications in order to ensure maximum knowledge transfer.

As a leading service provider in Business Analytics, Numius Academy is dedicated to train, coach and assist its participants in order to grow in their day-to-day activi-ties. Our goal is to provide participants with the necessary knowledge so they can put their main focus on using the information available in their Business Analy-tics environment.

We encourage participants to fully engage during the training. Our facilities are equipped with PC’s and a training environment where the participants can log onto individually. For onsite training at your company, we can assist you with the installa-tion and configuration of the training environment.

Numius Academy uses both a modular and practical approach in the training mate-rial. The modular approach ensures that the participants can search through the syllabus in a fast and efficient way, making it a clear user manual. The practical approach implies that business cases are immediately incorporated in the syllabus. Hence, the syllabus is immediately applicable to the participant’s daily activities.

The Numius Academy course leaders are a team of highly qualified and professional consultants who are certified experts in their business and technological area. They can build on the practical experience they have gained during implementation projects, making the course leader an ideal person to interact with during a training session and to relate to your own challenges.

As an IBM Premier Business Partner, Numius is authorized for the Cognos Business Intelligence , Cognos Planning and Cognos TM1 platforms. All our courses are devel-oped in-house and based on actual experience from implementation projects.

Visit our website on www.numius.eu for the latest information on Numius Academy. We are constantly developing new course material for new training offerings.

first class training

As in our public courses, all trainers are highly skilled in their areas of expertise and have a wealth of personal knowledge and experience. All combine training delivery with hands on experience in Business Analytics implementations.

cost effective

Since the training takes place at your own premises, there is no travel, no time away from the workplace and no expenses often associated with public training courses. Fees are charged per day rather than per delegate, therefore staff can be trained at a very low cost per person enabling you to maximize your training budget.

flexible

All the courses from our public training program can be offered on an in-house basis. Should you require something more tailored to your exact training requirements, we can also de-velop a course to suit your specific needs. As you are able to arrange a date that fits in with existing work demands, in-house training offers the ultimate flexible training solution.

immediate impact

By learning in familiar surroundings and having colleagues alongside throughout the train-ing, the impact throughout the organization is immediate. Sensitive company information can be shared and used as real life examples during the course in complete confidence to enable you to relate your learning directly back to your working environment.

multidimeNsioNAl modeliNgThis instructor-led training package provides a thorough understanding of the purpose of multidimensional models and teaches the participants how to construct correct models.

Multidimensional Modeling is a technique greatly appreciated in translating Performance Management information requirements into comprehensible information models suitable for different purposes. Multidimensional models bring structure into the information requirements analysis process.

They are used as a communication medium between business, end users, ICT and implementers. They are the basis for preparing an implementation of a Performance Management solution, regardless if information will be disclosed through scorecarding, dashboards, standard and ad-hoc reports, or OLAP cubes.

objectivesUpon completion of this course, participants will be able to find the right combination between: • Organizing and structuring informa-

tion: How should we perceive our organization and structure our information accordingly.

• Providing the correct information: How can we make sure that the right person disposes of the right information at the right time and in the right format.

• Creating the correct organizational processes: How can we ensure that this information allows us to improve continuously.
