To Complete Applications1. Choose the college you are
applying to and the application method you prefer.
2. Request an official ACT and/or SAT report from test reporting companies.
3. In Naviance, request your transcripts be sent to your colleges
4. Submit Transcript Processing Form to Senior House
Letters of Recommendation
• Verify if a letter is necessary!• Fill out the “Letter of Recommendation Request
Form” to give to the writer (Forms located in Senior House & on Naviance)
• Have a conversation with the writer on sending the letter. Provide addressed envelope and stamps if not electronic.
• Allow the recommender 2-3 weeks to complete. Recommenders can mail letters or give sealed letters back to student.
APPLICATION FOLLOW-UP
• Check the status of your application on the college’s web site.
• Check to see the date that your transcript was sent on NAVIANCE
• If you have questions, call the College Admissions Office
• Check admissions notifications dates• Be sure you have an application submitted to
your safety school
