Connecting communicationElectrical connection versions F1345F1345 has different electrical connection versions de-pending on when the heat pump was manufactured.To check which electrical connection applies to yourF1345, check the designation "2.0" visible above theright hand side of the terminal block as illustrated.

This accessory contains an accessory board (AA5) thatmust be connected directly to the heat pump on ter-minal block X6 in F1345 or on terminal block AA101-X10 in F1345 2.0.

If several accessories are to be connectedor are alreadyinstalled, the following instructions must be followed.

The first accessory board must be connected directlyto the terminal block in the heat pumpand the follow-ing boards must be connected in series with the previ-ous board.

Use cable type LiYY, EKKX or similar.

GeneralThis function enables an external additional heater,e.g. anoil boiler, gas boiler or district heatingexchangerto aid with heating.

The heat pump controls a shunt valve (QN11) and acirculation pump (GP10) via AXC 40. If the heat pumpdoes notmanage to keep the correct supply temperat-ure, the additional heat starts.When theboiler temper-ature has been increased to about 55° C, the heatpump sends a signal to the shunt to open from theadditional heat. The shunt is adjusted so the true supplytemperature corresponds with the control system’stheoretical calculated set point value. When the heat-ing requirement drops sufficiently that the additionalheat is no longer required the shunt closes completely.Factory setminimum run time for the boiler is 12 hours(can be set in menu 5.3.2).

Pipe connectionsThe external circulation pump (GP10) is positioned ac-cording to the outline diagram.

Shunt valveThe shunt valve (QN11) is located on the flow line tothe climate system after the heat pump according tothe outline diagram.

A■ Connect the supply line from theheat pump to the external heatsource via the T-pipe to port B onthe shunt valve (closes at reducedsignal).

■ Connect the flow line to the climatesystem from the shunt valve to the common port AB(always open)

■ Connect the supply line from the external additionalheat to the shunt valve to port A (opens at increasedsignal).

Temperature sensor■ Install the boiler sensor (BT52) in a suitable locationin the external addition.

■ External supply temperature sensor (BT25, connectedin the heat pump/indoor module) must be installedon the supply line to the radiators, after the shuntvalve (QN11).

Install the temperature sensorswith cable tieswith theheat conductingpaste andaluminium tape. Then insu-late with supplied insulation tape.

NOTE

Sensor and communication cables must notbe placed near power cables.

GeneralThe collector circuit is connected to a heat exchangervia a three way valve. The other side of the exchangeris connected to the heatingmedium circuit via a shuntvalve and a circulation pump.

When cooling is required (activated from the outdoorsensor and any room sensor or room unit) the threeway valve and the circulation pump are activated. Theshunt valve regulates so that the cooling sensor reachesthe current set point value that is equal to the outdoortemperature and the set min. value for the coolingtemperature (to prevent condensation).

Caution

This accessorymay require aprogramsoftwareupdate in your F1345.

GeneralThe heating/cooling modes are controlled by 4 three-way valves, which, depending on the outdoor temper-ature and/or room temperature, switch between thedifferent modes.

The cooling supply to the building is controlled by theset curve in the control system. After adjustment thecorrect amount of cooling for the current outdoortemperature is supplied. The flow temperature fromthe three-way valves will hover around the theoreticalrequired value (settable in the control system). In theevent of excess temperature F1345 calculates a surplusin the form of degrees-minutes, whichmeans that thegreater the excess temperature that temporarily pre-vails themore the connection of cooling production isaccelerated.

F1345 automatically switches to cooling mode whenthe outdoor temperature exceeds the set value.

Passive cooling means that F1345 with the aid of thecirculationpumps, circulates fluid fromtheground/rockcollector through the building's distribution systemand cools the building.

When the cooling requirement is large and passivecooling is not sufficient, active cooling is engaged atthe preset limit value. A compressor then starts andthe resulting cold medium circulates to the building'sclimate system and the heat circulates out to theground/rock collector. If several compressors areavailable these will start with a difference of the setdegree minutes.

NOTE

This system solutionmeans that the brine willalso circulate through the heating system.

Check that all component parts are designedfor the brine in question.
