O�-Limits Roads for All Boats

ODR cannot list all possible rivers in Alaska. Preparation & judgment is required every time a boat is placed in the water. O�-limits areas listed above are due to whitewater, strong currents, and long dirt roads. Any body of water experiencing those conditions should be considered "o�-limits," whether or not it is expressly listed.

Proceeding to an "o�-limits" area with a boat from ODR may result in your Boater Safety card being revoked.

Lake/ski boats (props) are not allowed on any river. Lake boats are only allowed in Birch Lake & Quartz Lake.
