Introduction Condition monitoring of machinery is the measurement of various parametersrelated to the

mechanical condition of the machinery (such as vibration, bearing temperature, oil pressure, oil

debris, and performance), which makes it possible to determine whether the machinery is in good

or bad mechanical condition. If the mechanical condition is bad, then condition monitoring makes

it possible to determine the cause of the problem.

Vibration Analysis is used to detect early precursors to machine, allowing machinery to be repaired

or replaced before an expensive failure occurs. All rotating equipment vibrates to some degree, but

as older bearings and components reach the end of their product life they begin to vibrate more

dramatically, and in distinct ways.Ongoing monitoring of equipment allows these signs of wear

and damage to be identified well before the damage becomes an expensive problem.

The EMERSON CSI 2140 Vibration data collector and analyser takes vibration

measurements to the next level with simultaneous four-channel plus phase data collection

and unique peak detection capabilities for the earliest indication of bearing and gearbox

degradation. The CSI 2140 can provide: Route vibration collection, Advanced vibration

analysis, Cross-channel analysis, Transient analysis, Dynamic balancing, Motor monitoring

andODS modal analysis.

Wirelessly upload route data and corrective maintenance jobs from the field to AMS Suite:

Machinery Health Manager for analysis and reporting. AMS Machinery Manager

integrates data from multiple technologies, including vibration, oil analysis, thermography,

and balancing into a single database.

Vibration Analysis Service

O-SECUL procures and supplies Emerson’s CSI2140 Vibration Analyzer and software to clients.

We also train client’s personnel on the best use of the Analyzer and software.

Online vibration monitoring service

Access to continuous information about critical machines is very useful in detecting defects

that could lead to catastrophic failure.Machines that are critical to production and difficult to

access requires continuous monitoring to avoid unwanted shutdowns that could affect

production.Emerson's Smart Wireless solution, the CSI 9420 Wireless Vibration Transmitter

provides insight into the health of cooling tower gearboxes, belt driven or gearbox driven fin

fan, motors, etc.

Fault Correction Services

The most common machine faults today are misalignment and unbalance. These faults are

identified during data collection and analysis and measures are taken to avoid catastrophic

failure, unnecessary overtime, secondary damage, additional spare parts or injury to staff.

PRECISION LASER ALIGNMENT

O-SECUL Nig.Ltd can perform a precision laser alignment for machines both as a pre-

commissioning measure and as a corrective measure. Using laser technology, we are able

to eliminate all the shortcomings of the dial gauge system which include shaft deflection

and zero errors.

Coupled, uncoupled and rigid shafts have been aligned precisely by O-SECUL Nig.Ltd with

this laser technology.

IN-SITU DYNAMIC BALANCING

O-SECUL Nig.Ltd carry out in-situ dynamic balancing for industrial fans using the single

plane or dual plane mode depending on the type of unbalance and rotor.

We perform precision balancing of many rotors in the field at your plant site saving you

from removing the rotor and shipping it to a balance shop, thereby saving labor and

downtime costs. This is of primary importance when there are large rotors like ID and FD

Fans, or even smaller fans where constant environmental control is required and the units

can't be down for long periods.

Training

O-SECUL conducts classroom and on-the-job training with well-designed course

materials on vibration analysis, alignment and dynamic balancing.

O-SECUL also organizes globally recognized certification courses like ISO CAT 1, ISO CAT

11 and ISO CAT 111 Vibration courses.
