Family

My family (Pictured; mother father, brother & sister) are a very important aspect of who I am or my ‘being.’

Being a flatmate

Living in the Rotatuna Suburb, Hamilton. Being a tenant and friend apart of a flatting circle or ‘community’ has really aided me in developing various social and life skills i.e. paying bills, budgeting etc.

Waterskiing Growing up in Tauranga and with outdoorsy parents has allowed me to develop a passion for the ocean and more specifically waterskiing. It is a hobby I take part in every summer.

Snow skiing

Every winter my parents take my sister, brother and I skiing usually in Ohakune to Mount Ruapehu. However fortunately pictured left in 2013 they took us to Queenstown (Coronet Peak). This year we are going again however with 2 day trips to Wanaka (Cardrona). Not only do I enjoy the physical endurance but I absolutely love being on any New Zealand slope as the scenery is magnificent.

Healthy EatingClean eating and for filling a healthy diet is something I aspire to and try my hardest to adhere too. I enjoy organic foods, cooking and eating New Zealand’s great produce.

Healthy Living

Pictured left is the Harakarmaita Track in Ngaruwahia, New Zealand. I enjoy keeping in shape but mostly enjoy walking – especially with scenic atmosphere. Doing bush walks for me is very therapeutic – spiritually, mentally and physically.

Friends

Being surrounded by the love of friends is really important to me. A balance between being productive and social is something I execute well. I find my friends to be also very therapeutic and are a part of who I am spiritually.

Retail Assistant

Own picture taken from a store bag

Being a retail assistant at Acquisitions at the local shopping mall is an important role to me and who I am as a person. It allows me to develop generic sales skills but also teaches me about financial skills and responsibility. It has allowed me to learn new skills about working within a team and also how to communicate efficiently with the public in delivering service optimal to the consumer.
