A bit of a catch-up lesson for some who weren’t here last week......

By the end of the lesson you all MUST have....

• Completed your net.fm logo, and saved it as a jpeg

• Completed your net.fm leaflet in publisher (A5 size)

• Produced a business card to be given away at the exhibition

• Saved all these items in your doc. Folder AO4

• Taken screen prints of each document and saved them in your documents AO4

•Copied your unit 1 folder into

• student public/history/mr lee’s drop-box

Then for any pupils who have completed the check list....

STARTER Ideas for folded leaflet..?

• Sample prices for advertising packages (table) • Profile and picture of one of the presenters. • Story about a charity the station sponsors. • Graph/chart of listener figures (make a chart in Excel) • History of the station. • Details of podcasts the station has of its shows. • Images of the studios. • What else could you use on the folded leaflet? {add below}

Business Documents

• Folded promotional leaflet to be given to people at the Radio Industry Exhibition.

• This leaflet will contain a lot more detail than the A5 leaflet – it is for people who have expressed an interest in Net.fm and want to know more.

Cover for PLE p5 DT3Please apologise for my absence at meeting. This is another catch-up lesson.

• Please highlight the after school club by Mr Hussain EVERY Monday so they can catch up with any OCR National work they are behind in. I am going to be setting H/W so that people HAVE to attend from next week. It is 1515-1615 in the ELC.

• By the end of the session today ALL pupils should have:-

• SAVED their work into a NEW Drop Box (so no pupil has done this yet):

•P:\ICT Department\Dropboxes\Y11\11 IT3 Mr Lee (Making sure they name their folder first not just ‘OCR’

• It needs to have sub folders: AO1 and A04

• AO1 contains: all their screen print evidence (i.e. creating short cuts on their desktop, screen print of folder structure)

• A04 contains: these should be in separate folders : A4 leaflet (folded 3x sided), A5 poster, Business card, House style template/logos

• Once they’ve done this they need to go to my old drop box in History and delete any content they’ve added there.
