CARMEN OHIO

(Hats off, standing) Oh, come, let's sing Ohio's p"aise And songs to Alma Mater raise; While our hearts rebounding thrill With joy that death alone can still.

Summer's heat or winter's cold, The seasons pass, the years will roll; Time and change will truly show How firm thy friendship-Ohio.

These jolly days of priceless worth By far the gladdest days on earth, Soon will pass and we do not know How dearly we love Ohio.

We should strive to keep thy name Of fair repute and spotless fame; So in college halls we'll grow And love thee better-Ohio.

Iolas M. Huffman

"Huff" is one of Ohio State's

star linesmen. His greatest de

fensive work is an outstandillg

feature, for time and again he

has been able to knife through

in different games and throw

his opponents for losses. Huff

man is All-Western material

without a doubt.

25

R. H . Spiers

Spiers is the running mate of Huffman , he holding down the other tackle. His ability to break through the opponents' line and block punts has proven to be very valuable for Ohio State. He is a "Bearcat" lineman and together with Huffman makes up a combination that is hard to beat in the Conference.

RAH, RAH, RAH, FOR OLD OHIO

(Tune; "Tramp, Tramp, Tramp, the Boys Are Marching.")

I.

Raise a shout of hearty cheer For the Scarlet and the Grey And the boys that go to battle in the game. They are out to do their best And whoever wins the day They'll be loyal to our Alma Mater's name.

CHORUS.

Rah, rah, rah for Old Ohio For Ohio hip hurrah, hip hurrah. Oh, the team is filled with pep And they're out to make a rep And they'll die beCore Ohio'lI lose the day.

II.

Oh, the backs are Cast and strong, They will take the ball along Till they've traveled forty miles across the

field, And the line is like a rock, It will stand the hardest shock, Fo Ohio's men were never known to yield.

III.

So we'll plegde our hearts and hand By the team to always stand. We will cheer them every moment oC the

game, For Ohio's sons are true In whate'er they try to do And they'll bring Ohio victory and fame.
