Newcomers and Guests Thank you for worshipping with us today. We look forward to
meeting you and giving you a gift, and hope you will stop by the Welcome Table in the
Heritage Room (just behind the Sanctuary) after the service. Welcome!

yours up and save the church the cost of postage.

Our continuing study of the Acts of the Apostles will resume on October 25. Sanford Pyron

the Church.

All Saints’ Day is coming up Sunday, November 1. There will be a table in front of the Altar
for pictures of family and friends who have departed. Please bring your labeled pictures to the
office. Make sure to hand them to Barry directly for safe keeping. Photographs will also be
collected on Sunday, October 25 in Lewis Hall. This year there will also be a separate section
for departed pets. Please bring labeled photographs in the manner mentioned above.
The Stewardship Dinner is coming this Saturday, October 24— if you have
not signed up, please help us by indicating what you will bring. The signup
sheets are on tables in the Heritage Room. The evening begins with hors
d’oeuvres at 5:30 p.m. in the Heritage Room.
The next “Come and See” Sunday afternoon service will be in the chapel on November 1 at
4:00 p.m. This month the service will be led by Mother Nancy.
Do you sometimes feel as if you are out of the loop in the events of the church? Aside from
these weekly notices, the monthly Chronicles are filled with information about recent and
upcoming events. The bulletin boards in Lewis Hall have newsletters from St. Alban’s in
Arcata and St. Paul’s in Crescent City, all recent vestry meeting minutes, monthly financial
statements, as well as numerous and changing flyers and posters about the various outreach
activities of the parish. If you need still more information, ask any vestry person for help, and
they will be glad to comply.
Eucharistic Visitors If you are unable to come to worship on a regular basis and would like
communion brought to you on Sunday following our services, please call the parish office
Monday through Friday and request a Eucharistic Visitor.
The Altar flowers are given to the glory of God by Marian Marcellus in thanksgiving for
loving family and friends, and in loving memory of David and Bud.
