It is a thrill to see the smiles and the joy of the children as they learn and sing about God. I thank God for the musicians who lead us in praising the Lord of all. With their instruments and voices they lift our hearts to God. I am deeply appreciative of the dedication these folks have as they give their time each week to practice and prepare. Their efforts add so much to the joy we share in worship. Equally I praise God for the dedicated members and friends at RPCC who prepare food for meals, whether during our Gateway program or for Sunday fellowship meals or for other special occasions. I’m thankful for the thoughtful and caring people who make the coffee and snacks for after worship services and during other times of need. Their contribution is not something to be taken for granted. It adds much to our church life. I thank God for the people who do behind- the-scenes planning and who work so hard on special events. Right now I am so conscious of all the effort being put into the Fall Fiesta, to insure it is a success. There are others who work on the church board and committees who continually work to improve the ministry of the church. I praise God for these talented people…and all who will come! I could go on and on. The love and effort and service and sacrifice I see is inspiring. Sure every church has shortcomings and needs improvement in one area or another. Nevertheless, I love RPCC and I know God is at work among us, active and working in exciting ways. Let’s all support in every way possible the God-glorifying ministry of our church. VIEWS AND REVIEWS “A LOVING CHURCH”

Royal Palm Christian Church is a loving

and loveable church. All you have to do is look

around to see examples. When people are

hurting, RPCC members are eager to help. When

some members have reason for joy, all others at

RPCC gladly applaud. As the scriptures say,

“Weep with those who weep; rejoice with those

who rejoice” (Romans 12:15). That is what

happens at RPCC.

I love this church because I see the many

people who give of themselves. Each week on

Thursday evening members and friends of the

church come to provide food to the dozens of

families who come in need. Some of those

participating in this ministry have been involved

for nearly ten years, rarely missing a week.

I love the youth and youth sponsors here

at RPCC. We have had some remarkable young

people involved in our youth groups who have

graduated and moved on to work and serve in

different parts of the country. Presently we have

wonderful youth who are growing in Christ,

learning to lead and supporting one another. I’m

so thankful for the adults who faithfully offer love

and guidance each week. Good things are

happening.

Good things are happening with the

children as well. Not only do we have an

amazing preschool full of loving teachers and

staff, we have terrific volunteers who serve

during children’s church. Still others work to

teach, encourage and bless our delightful

youngsters at others times, both on Sundays and

during mid-week. It is a thrill to see the smiles

and the joy of the children as they learn and sing

about God.

I thank God for the musicians who lead us

in praising the Lord of all. With their instruments

and voices they lift our hearts to God. I am

deeply appreciative of the dedication these folks

have as they give their time each week to

practice and prepare. Their efforts add so much

to the joy we share in worship.

Equally I praise God for the dedicated

members and friends at RPCC who prepare food

for meals, whether during our Gateway program

or for Sunday fellowship meals or for other

special occasions. I’m thankful for the thoughtful

and caring people who make the coffee and

snacks for after worship services and during

other times of need. Their contribution is not

something to be taken for granted. It adds much

to our church life.

I thank God for the people who do behind-

the-scenes planning and who work so hard on

special events. Right now I am so conscious of

all the effort being put into the Fall Fiesta, to

insure it is a success. There are others who work

on the church board and committees who

continually work to improve the ministry of the

church. I praise God for these talented

people…and all who will come!

I could go on and on. The love and effort

and service and sacrifice I see is inspiring. Sure

every church has shortcomings and needs

improvement in one area or another.

Nevertheless, I love RPCC and I know God is at

work among us, active and working in exciting

ways. Let’s all support in every way possible the

God-glorifying ministry of our church.

PRESCHOOL NEWS FROM MS. SUZANNE

Fall has arrived and the leaves are falling

all over preschool. We have tasted so many

apples – red, yellow and green – then graphed

the results to determine our favorite. Our math

skills were put to good use as we chopped,

poured, and measured to create yummy apple

crisp and autumn apple pancakes.

On the International Day

of Peace the “Terrific 3’s” had a

peace parade throughout the

school sharing their peace

message with all.

We encourage all of our families to read

with their children daily. Talk about books – the

front, the back, the author, the illustrator, the

words and the sounds. If you need help choosing

books or would like to borrow books from our

school library, please stop by the office and we’ll

be happy to help you. Remember…“Reading is a

lifetime skill.”

Fall Fiesta (October 9th from 4 – 8pm) is

almost here. This event is a fun-filled day with

activities for the whole family. Mark your

calendars and plan to attend. Preschoolers have

been practicing some great songs with Ms.

Stacey, our Music Teacher, and will be singing at

this event at 5:00 p.m.
