Program Highlights Mr. Plemmons was in the top 3 teachers for District Teacher of the Year

Our book fair raised $1796.88 for our media center

The leader librarians cluster met with 2 vendors from Capstone and Childrens Plus

to search for new books for our school

Thirty-six students completed the reading heroes challenge

Our storybook parade was held on October 28th and some classes chose to do

themes focused on their grade level GPS, some focused on genre themes, and some

left student costume choices up to the students

Mr. Plemmons presented the Barrow Oral History Project at the Georgia Council of

Media Organizations Conference in Athens, GA and also had a phone interview

with StoryCorps about the project
