MEET YOUR FOOTHILLS LTG!

I am a Junior here at VT. I am a biology major, going pre-nursing with a minor in Spanish.

I was born in Savannah, Georgia, but I grew up in Chester, Virginia.

I love cooking and baking. I enjoy sailing my sailboat out on the Chesapeake Bay watching all the dolphins swim around me. I enjoy playing video games with my little brother. My only down time is watching ALL of my favorite shows or reading a good book…which I do not do often because I am very devoted to CKI!

I am Lieutenant Governor of the Foothills division- I aid the six schools across my division by guiding the presidents to do what they need to, help mediate situations, set up opportunities of service for my clubs

and be everyone’s connection to Capital District.

My favorite part about being LTG is that I get to show the presidents, their boards and my clubs what it means to do to serve. I love helping people so much and I want to teach everyone that being a leader is not just about power; it is about teaching and preaching what you love to do.

My favorite CKI project has to be anything that does with kids in our area. The Blacksburg/Montgomery County area is a low income area so helping the kids around town makes me feel like I am doing something good in this world!

FELLOWSHIP

Member of the Month:

Mickenzi

Mickenzi, a freshman who hails from Burnt Hills, New York, is a freshman this year and new to VTCKI! Mickenzi is in the Gallileo Engineering Learning Community for Men housed in Lee Hall. He has shown tremendous effort in the club

early in the game– participating in a variety of our projects (like apple gleaning!) and has come to every general meeting. Thanks for all your hard work, Mickenzi! Keep it up!
