Home-Start Southern Salary: £7.83 per hour. A 5% bonus is paid, based on new income over £2818 generated by the post-holder in each calendar year, commencing from the start of employment. Hours of work: Part time: 30 hours per calendar month, with flexibility in the pattern of working hours, as agreed with line manager. Occasional evening and weekend work required. Contract type: Permanent. Location: Mainly home-based, following induction period. We are a charity supporting families with young children through home-visiting and four weekly groups. We train volunteers to provide regular practical and emotional support to families who have at least one child under five, and are experiencing stressful/crisis situations or are ‘hard to reach’. This is an exciting opportunity to help ensure we continue our important work of improving the lives of vulnerable families. We have been running for 29 years, and are dependent on grants, donations and fundraising. We want to hear from you, if you: have experience of raising money for charitable purposes can independently research new sources of funding, and work to deadlines are an energetic ‘people person’ with focus and commitment are self-motivated, and enjoy motivating others could write with passion about Home-Start’s work!
