Introduction

This procedure is applied for upgrading from the equipment that has not achieved AMR

operation. In order to AMR operation, it needs the adequate firmware version for ODU.

Version for　AMR

ODU：Firmware Ver.2.30 or later、Hardware Ver.* * A*

Process outline

ODU F/W upgrading

ODU firmware downloading (2 files for ODU)

　Downloading files（file names in this procedure）

1) NWZ-022368-001_v230-39AE.HEX (first)

2) NWT-026820-001_NHG2_AMR-Patch_v1.hex (second)

Ⅰ.ODU F/W upgrading

ODU firmware downloading

1.Maintenance Mode”ON”

LCT Menu => Maintenance(*1) => Select “ON”(*2) and click “Set”(*3) button

2. ODU F/W downloading

Note: There are 2 files for ODU. Please keep the sequence.

This procedure shows the case of 1+0. In case of 1+1, please execute the process for NO.1 and No.2

both.

(1) LCT Menu=> Maintenance2(*4)=> open “Program File”(*5)

(2) Select “ODU”(*6), and click “Browser”(*7)button, next input the file address for downloading file

Note: there are 2 files for downloading please keep the sequence.

1) NWZ-022368-001_v230-39AE.HEX (first)

2) NWT-026820-001_NHG2_AMR-Patch_v1.hex (second)

(3) Click Execute(*9) button then Status change to downloading

(4) Status change to complete、then the firs downloading is done.

(5) Next, please execute the second sequence for downloading.

3. Confirm ODU F/W Version

LCT Menu=> Inventory(*12), please confirm ODU H/W Version(*13)and ODU F/W Version(*14)

Applicable version: The second place in H/W Version is **A*.
