■Characteristics

1. High speed processing and large capacity memory

Operation speed is 0.4μsec /1command(basic command),

equivalent to that of medium sized PLC and program capacity can

be extended up to 15,871 STEP. I/O control point can be used up to

1,600 points maximum.

2. Forced I/O & Time Chart Monitoring function

Forced input and output on PROGRAM MODE(against Y,R,L) and

on RUN MODE(against X,Y,R, L,T,C) can be done. In addition, the

function of control execution status of 16 points at the same time like

time chart of the logic analyzer is provided so as to be used very

conveniently when PLC monitoring and debugging.

3. Program Edit Function during RUN

Programs can be corrected, deleted and inserted during RUN without

interruption. (also available on Ladder Symbol mode)

4. Password Function

This function sets up Password to protect the User Program, that

does not allow access to the program of PLC by anyone except for

the person concerned so as to prevent the trouble of program in

advance and enhance reliability of the system.

5. 100 % compatibility with the existing N-Series PLC

Compatibility of Commands with the existing N-Series PLC

6. Supports the Handy-Loader that BACKs-Up Programs, etc.

NX-CPU700 module can be interfaced with Handy-

Loader(CPL5119) that has memory back-up function. This

product(CPL5119) has not only the handy type programming tool

function but also has back-up memory embedded to store ladder

program and data so as to store the program(approx. for 3 days).

Accordingly, down loading and up loading of PLC program for this

and that facility can be done with this loader only for convenient use.

7. Add of diverse Command words

SET, RST, Data Transfer Instruction(F70~F78), Compressed shift

instruction(F98, F99), supplementary timer instruction(F137, STMR)

are added so as to enable more command words to be used.

8. Comment Memory that can attach comments on the Ladder

Program is basically embedded

RAM 16K Word(12 letters x 2730 ea) is basically embedded to enable

to attach comments on each interface when preparing programs.

Because that the contents of comment on interfaces and the like are

recorded inside the CPU module, it is convenient to investigate the

contents of instrumentations and the like after several years.

9. EPROM Function(User Memory) is optional

EPROM Socket is optional and the user of EPROM can directly

purchase and input the Ladder Program. Accordingly, PLC program

can be driven with EPROM.

equivalent, 2 ea required)

Processing speed 0.4us, programming capacity 16k Step, basic unit of NX700 PLC usable, convenient functions like

In addition, Comment Memory is basically embedded for convenience of users.

1. High speed processing and large capacity memory

Operation speed is 0.4μsec /1command(basic command) and

program capacity can be extended up to 15,871 STEP. I/O

control point can be used up to 384 points maximum.

2. Forced I/O & Time Chart Monitoring function

Forced input and output on PROGRAM MODE(against Y,R,L)

and on RUN MODE(against X,Y,R, L,T,C) can be done. In

addition, the function of control execution status of 16 points at

the same time like time chart of the logic analyzer is provided so

as to be used very conveniently when PLC monitoring and

debugging.

3. Program Edit Function during RUN

Programs can be corrected, deleted and inserted during RUN

without interruption of PLC. (also available on Ladder Symbol

mode)

4. Password Function

This function sets up Password to protect the User Program, that

does not allow access to the program of PLC by anyone except

for the person concerned so as to prevent the trouble of program

in advance and enhance reliability of the system.

5. 100 % compatibility with the existing N-Series PLC

6. Supports the Handy-Loader that BACKs-Up Programs, etc.

NX-CPU700 module can be interfaced with Handy-

Loader(CPL5119) that has memory back-up function. This

product(CPL5119) has not only the handy type programming tool

function but also has back-up memory embedded to store

ladder program and data so as to store the program(approx. for 3

days). Accordingly, down loading and up loading of PLC

program for this and that facility can be done with this loader only

for convenient use.

7. Add of diverse Command words

SET, RST, Data Transfer Instruction (F70~F78), Compressed

shift instruction(F98, F99), supplementary timer instruction(F137,

STMR) are added so as to enable more command words to be

used.

8. Comment Memory that can attach comments on the Ladder

Program is basically embedded

RAM for Comment (12 letters x 2730 ea) is basically embedded

to enable to attach comments on each interface when preparing

programs. Because that the contents of comment on interfaces

and the like are recorded inside the CPU module, it is convenient

to investigate the contents of instrumentations and the like after

several years..

�Operating sequence of Computer Link Function is computer

sends COMMAND to PLC(CCU+) and PLC returns RESPONSE

according to the protocol format of NX70-CPU, NX-CPU700p,

which is a own protocol. In accordance with this sequence

(PROTOCOL), through the intermediation of CCU Module, the

computer can execute communication with PLC so as to be able

to obtain or provide each kind of PLC information.

�Software is required only at the side of the Computer in order to

use the Computer Link Function.

(MMI S/W : C-language, BASIC / Programming S/W, etc.)

but, PLC(CCU) itself does not require any programs. .

�The Data that can be transmitted at one time is up to 250 BYTE.

The following picture is an example of configuration for N-Plus Series.

■Characteristics

1. 2 Channels (RS232C, RS485 Optional) are mounted in the Unit.

2. Data I/O can be executed with simple Sequence Command only.

Reading Data from SCU can be executed with PLC Application

Command[READ] and writing down data into SCU can be

executed with Application Command[WRT]. Because that CPU

UNIT and shared memory of SCU will execute after-measures,

there is no need to prepare complex.

3. As for SCU unit, use was extended by adding RS-485 Network

Function on the previously used Function of N-Series SDU.

4. Enabled Network-building by using RS232C communication

and RS485 communication

�Enabled Data I/O with RS232 device: Data I/P can be done by

interface with IDX displayer, measuring instrument, barcode reader

received protocol to process data. However, own communication

protocol like CPU is not embedded.

�1:1 system configuration can be made through RS232C terminal

For wiring convenience, transmission line can respond to up

to 2 channels per 1 Master Unit. In addition, 1 CPU can

�Ethernet System is a leased Open Network System for CPU750 of NX700.

�This is a Communication Unit to interface NX700 PLC with Ethernet (100BASE -TX,

10BASE-T, 10BASE5), according to TCP/IP and UDP/IP.
