With reference to the above subject, our proposal was discussed in the l2th meeting

of EAC (Industry III) on 17'h June 2021 for reconsideration of EC under Category

B-2. The EAC, after detailed deliberations, recommended the project for grant ofenvironmental clearance, we are very thanl< 1 to the committee for the same.

After recommendation of E,C, ADS was generated on Parivesh portal on

16.01.2021. Please find below our clarification on the ADS:

Clarification on the ADS:

The proposed project is located at Village Hingni, Tal. Seloo, Dist. Wardha.

Maharashtra on a Private Land owned by Ipca Laboratories Limited.

The Bor Tiger Reserve covering approximately 138.12 Sq.km as core area, is

located about 7 km to the North side of the project site. Government ofMaharashtra has notified a Buffer zone 678.15 Sq. I(m. (355.83 Sq.km Forest Area

and 322.32 Sq.km Non Forest Area) as Protected Area under Wildlife Protection

Act 1972 vide its Notification No.WLP.0B15/C.R. 2,6llF-1. dated 4th December

2015 in order to give space for the Tigers for their movement. The site is located

adjacent to the Buffer zone Notified by Government of Maharashtra

(Approximatgly 1.4 km to the North side of the project site).

As per the GoM Notification dt. 4'r'December 2015, the National Tiger Authority,

Government of India Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change vide its

letter No. 15-I(33)12015-NTCZ dt. 8th October 2015 has conveyed its approval for

declaring the'Buffer Zone'of the Bor Tiger Reserve, under section 38(V) of the

Wildlife (Protection) Act, (53 of 1972).

We, have received a letter frorn the Forest Department mentioning that project site

is located at a distance of 2.4 km from the reserve forest at North side and project

is located adjacent to the protected area (Buffer zone).

Along with the letter the forest department has attached the information about the

declared buffer zone area of Hingani range forest. Copy of letter is also attached as

Annexure II. English version of this letter is also attached with this Annexure.

Hence, general conditions are applicable to our above said project since the

same is located within 5km from the boundary of Protected Area Notified

under the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972.

Thus, the proposed project attracts the general condition as per EIA Notification

2006 which mentions that"Any proiect or activity speci/ied in Category 'B'will

be treated as Category A", However the project applied under B2 Category as per

Notification dated 15'h Octob er 2020.

Due to the above, we have applied to MOEFCC for grant of Environmental

clearance for the project. We hope above clarification, fulfills your requirement.

Wardha and Nagpur Territoriai Forest Division is required to be included in the Buffqr Zone of

Bor Tiger Reserve for the purpose of ensuring that the Critical Tiger Habitat or Core has adequate

area for dispersal of tigers and other species and with the aim of promoting co-existence between

wildlife and humans with due recognition to the iivelihood, developmental, social and cuitural

rights of the local people ;

And Whereas, the National Tiger Conservation Authority, Government of India

Subject: Regarding distance of Protected forest, Reserve forest and Wildlife Sanctuary from Noble

Company

With reference to above mentioned subject the information is provided as below as per your request,

1. Distance of Bor Dam from Company is 7.5 km and it is not National Park it is Wildlife Sanctuary.

Distance of Bor Wildlife Sanctuary from the company is 7.0 Km. Reserve forest is at North

direction from the company and it is at d distance of 2.4 km. Also there is Protected forest

adjacent to the company on North Direction.

2. Copy of notification of Buffer Zone is enclosed herewith

3. As map of Buffer zone is not available, we are unable to mark that area on map. It will be

provided after the map of buffer zone is available with us.
