About the car
The face of a beauty: a Citroën ID 19 b in a wonderful “Blanc Carrare”-outfit and in optimal original condition
A real Citroën ID b for connoisseurs
This 1968 ID 19 b is very rare and difficult to
find in original condition. We can’t detect any
later added, non original part – except for the
modern seat belts as a little concession to se-
curity and the radio which can be easily re-
moved. There is no DS- or Pallas-accessory
as you often find in these vehicules. A real ID
for real historic car lovers who favour the pure
touch of former car experience. Our ID is like
it was when the car left the factory.
A very sophisticated color
The color is “Blanc Carrare” (Carrara Marble
White) and also original: The badge-number

(AC 144) matchs this color. It is a very so-
phisticated color – white with a subtile touch
of green, which is getting more visible in sha-
dow. A very typical color for the Citroën DS
and ID. It was available since 1961 and pre-
sent in offical Citroën-brochures. “Carrara”
was a Tuscan village in ancient times and fa-
mous for white marble.
The best of new and old in one car
The new front of DS- and ID-models with di-
rectional headlights was introduced in Sep-
tember 1967, the beautiful classic dashboard
was repaced one year later. So our car
comes with the very special combination of
the new front and the old dashboard. This co-
mination is mostly in demand because it was
only available between Sep-
tember 1967 and August 1968,
a period wich forms part of the
“golden years” of the D-model
evolution.
Where the ID comes from
We found this ID19 in southern
France, in a very small rural
village called Labatut-Rivière
near Tarbes. The owner was a
retired divorced old man who
was living alone in a nice big
house. His son died recently
and he wanted to move to the
city and sell the
house, his ID
and his little
plane (!). He got
the ID in an
exchange for a
camper van.
The car was
running perfectly
and smoothly,
the interior was
almost excellent
for a 49 years
old car, but the
underneath and
the trunk pre-
sented some rust to be repaired. The main
reasons for us to buy the car: the nice and
very rare body color “Blanc Carrare”, that is
giving the car a beautiful 60s look, the good
mechanics functions and the almost perfect
original condition of the interior. Untfortunat-
ley no invoices of recent maintenance were
available.
We did a lot of work (look at page 16) in order
to be able to offer a car in perfect and absolu-
tely rust free condition for a fair price. But
don’t just believe us, check it out for yourself
by studying the pictures and technical des-
cription on the following pages.

Our philosophy
For us the Citroën DS is more than business.
It is our passion and our dream car. As a
sales specialist in Citroën classic car models
we daily look for DS-, ID- and D-Super-mo-
dels in Spain and Southern France. Our aim
is to find cars close to an original condition
which we could refurbish for our customers.
We prefer non-restored, but well maintained
cars which have never suffered a winter and
salty streets as it is usual in northern Europe.
This is becoming more and more difficult be-
cause demand and prices are increasing per-
manently. Nonetheless we try to offer good
cars for fair prices. Our sold D-models are
driven in several European countries and
also by overseas customers. Finally one im-
portant thing is for us a point of honor: We do
believe in service. If you decide to come to us
in order to check and to drive one of our cars,
we will pick up you at the airport and give you
any help to organize your travel and stay –
also the transport of the car to your home
should you decide to buy one of our cars.
