Serving Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan, South Bend International Airport or “SBN” is the third largest in passenger enplanements (305,491) after Indianapolis International (3,605,908) and Fort Wayne International (323,252). Nestled along the banks of the illuminated St. Joseph River, South Bend is a booming city located between Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan, approximately 100 miles from Chicago, Illinois, 140 miles from Indianapolis, Indiana, and 200 miles from Detroit, Michigan. South Bend is the county seat of St. Joseph County.
