Organizing Director My name is Ivan Medina, I am a fifth year, Art and Literature double major student from Los Angeles who first got politicized when immigration became a large part of my life. Growing up poor, my goals became those that aimed to create accessibility for marginalized populations and overall achieve a pathway for those after me to continue the movement. I was originally involved in MEChA, serving as its co-chair last year, and this year as the Organizing Director I want to rattle students into organized power. Why you should join me? Because you want to leave this University better than when you came into it . Let’s Talk :

About The Logo:

Kevin Huang, Organizing Director 2012-2013, created this logo, which resembles the AFSCME logo and in a way resembles the relationship he had with labor unions and student autonomy. His work translates this year into the office, offering the same resources he offered and the same level of critical engagement that the office is used to seeing. Thank You Kevin.
