(c) Essential Qualification

(i) Subject Matter Specialist (Agro Meteorology)

1. Bachelors degree in concerned/relevant field with at least 6.00 OCGA out of 10.. point scale

or equivalent (Trimester/Semester system or at least 50% marks traditional system) and

2. Masters degrees with good academic record, 55% (or equivalent grade in a point scale

wherever grading system is followed) in Agro

meteorology/Meteorology/Agronomy/Agriculture Physics also considered bu t preference will

be given to candidates with Agro metrology qualification.

3. Desirable: Diploma Computer Application.

4. The requirement regarding minimum percentage of marks shall be relaxed upto 5% in any

one degree case of SC/ST/OBC candidates of M.P,

(d) (ii) Agromet Observer

1. Agromet Observer should be B.Sc. Agriculture/Horticulture/ Forestry or B.Tech in

Agricultural engineering.

2. Bachelors degree at least 6.00 OCGA out of 10.00 point scale or equivalent

(Trimester/Semester system or at least 50% marks Traditional system is followed)

3. Desirable : Diploma in Computer Application.

(e) Remuneration/Emoluments of manpower

1. Minimum emoluments of Rs. 61150/- + (Rs. 1683/2805/3927/5610) for the post of Subject

matter Specialist (SMS - Agrometerology) and Rs. 23650/- (Rs. 651/1085/1519/2170) for the

post of Agromet Observer as per 7th

CPC (level-10 and level 03 respectively) prorate on

contractual basis co-terminus with GKMS scheme on year to year extension basis.

2. Annual increment along with service extension will be granted based on relevant review of

annual performance which will also be borne by IMD.

Terms and Conditions

1. The above position is purely temporary and will be filled in on contractual basis.

2. No. TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

The selected candidate shall have no right/claim for regular appointment at this VV, as the

appointment is co-terminus with the project/Scheme.

3. Eligible and interested candidates may attend walk-n-interview on the date as indicated with

original certificates, experience certificate in the relevant area and research publication, along with

application form with one set of attested photocopies of all essential qualification from 10th

standard onwards along with two passport size photographs.

4. Eligible candidates are advised to be present at least 30 minutes before scheduled time on the

date of interview for competing necessary formalities. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the

candidates.

5. The existence of the posts under scheme is exclusively dependent of the financial aid from the

funding agencies therefore as and when the financial aid is withdrawal/ Stopped form the

ICAR/the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD). Ministry of Earth Science (MOES), New

Delhi the contract of the candidates will be terminated.

6. Application must have the requisite qualifications and experience on the date of interview.

7. Applications not accompanied by application fee or copies of certificates/defree, mark-

sheet/transcript in support of academic qualifications, filled in informative guidelines and other

required documents shall be summarized rejected.

Note

1. Knowledge of Hindi is essential.

1. Those Candidates who are already working in any project/scheme/organization should bring

“No Objection Certificate” from his present employer.

2. On the date of Walk-In-Interview required certificates should be produced in original for

verification.

3. The experience in the relevant area will be counted after acquiring the basic minimum

qualification.

4. The requirement regarding minimum percentage of marks shall be relaxed upto 5% in case of

SC/ST/OBC candidate of M.P.

5. Application for each post should be filled separately along with its fee.
