Staff Management - FAQ
• Is the Staff No generated automatically?– No, you need to key in the Staff No by yourself. However,
the system will check whether the Staff No is unique.• Can I delete registered staff?– No, you cannot delete registered staff. You can only set
them to “Inactive”. To do this, please go to Staff Management Staff List Click on Button “Edit Staff”
• Can I change the Staff No?– Staff No can only be changed IF the user has not been
assigned any leave profile, salary profile, user ID, etc.

Staff Management (Summary)
• Newly joined staff can be create under (Staff Management --> Register New Staff)
• Page List All Staff will be used to edit EXISTING STAFF, create leave profiles
• Staff No cannot be changed once the particular staff has information other than basic staff information
• Staff No has to be unique• Deleting staff isn’t allowed, however users can
deactivate staff by using Edit Staff page.

1. Edit your own personal information in Edit Staff. 2. A new Sales Manager, Emery bin Saed, just joined
Business Department and you are required to register the new staff inside OfficeCentral. Emery will be reporting to YOU and will be under probation for 3 months. Within that period, Emery isn’t allowed to take leave. Below are Emery’s information:– IC : 880423-14-5017– Classification : Executive– Staff No : 0042– Status : Permanent

1. You have previously taken a day off (a month ago – Annual Leave). This leave was taken before your company started using OfficeCentral, however you decided to record this leave.
2. On our previous exercise, you have allow your staff, Emery to take leave. Emery wanted to take an Annual Leave on next Friday because he has to attend his son’s graduation day. You may use Emery login to apply the leave and you will have to recommend this leave as his Supervisor.

1. Your company is having an Open Day this Saturday. You have to post a memo inside OfficeCentral to remind all staffs in your company about the details of the event. This memo will expired after the event finishes.
2. You need to import the memo created into PDF format so that your staff can print the memo.
