Aplicación: Estos cables están diseñados específicamente para su instalación y uso en ambientes marinos, en las plataformas de perforación en alta mar, en buques marinos y en las instalaciones costa afuera fijas y flotantes. Estos cables se utilizan para la distribución de energía en circuitos eléctricos o pueden ser utilizados en sistemas de iluminación, comunicación y circuitos de control en 600/1000 voltios. Temperatura máxima de operación del conductor: 90° C según la norma IEEE, UL y CSA.
Conductores: Cobre desnudo suave recocido trenzado por estándar ASTM B3/B8.
Aislamiento: Cloruro de Polivinilo/Nylon (PVC/NYL) Retardante a la llama.
Características del aislamiento T/N: • Clasificado para 105ºC. • UL dual catalogado como THHN/THWN. • Resistente a productos químicos, calificado Res. II a gasolina y aceite. • Resistente a luz solar, para uso CT de 1/0 AWG y mayores.
