26 November 2015 Dear Parents/Carer Since the start of the current academic year, everyone at the school has been working incredibly hard to address the issues identified from our Ofsted inspection in June. On the 12 th of November 2015, the school had a visit from Ofsted to monitor the progress made since the inspection. I am delighted to announce that following a 1 day monitoring visit, Ofsted made the following judgement regarding the school: “Senior leaders and governors are taking effective action to tackle the areas requiring improvement identified at the recent section 5 inspection in order to become a good school” In addition the report also states, “Leaders are united in their ambition and determination to take the academy from ‘requires improvement’ to ‘good’ and beyond. There is a renewed sense of urgency and a strong commitment to address the previous inspection report findings in a timely and thorough manner.” As the principal of the school I am delighted that Ofsted recognises the hard work of all stakeholders in moving our school forward so swiftly. The report will be available on our website shortly, meanwhile I have attached a copy of the visit report for parents’ information.
