• The test is conducted to assess an ep for their skills

• Eps that you think are qualified and have proof of the same, can be excused from taking the test

• All eps need to take atleast the english test, unless they have a previous toefl or ielts test score.

• Lc vps can take the decision for which eps can be excused from the tests.• Eg. Returned gcdp eps, or reverse matched eps etc.

The review board

• Objective: to interview the applicant and ensure honesty and fairness in the testing process. To check the communication skills of the ep. To ensure financial capacity, mental capacity and personality profile of the ep. (Softer aspects).

• How: the RB should be organized after the ep passes the oet. They must be interviewed by aiesecers who have been trained on interviewing skills.

• Resources: use the interview guide to ask the right kind of questions for assessment.
