“I'm Ready To Be A Faithful Witness”
Bishop Kim S. Fitzgerald Ohio Diocesan Bishop
MISSION STATEMENT We are organized and united to carry out the
mandates of Jesus Christ to evangelize the world by baptizing and making disciples for Him,
teaching them to obey and follow His commands, and to promote, establish and advance ministries
as they relate to the communities we are called to serve. The early Pentecostal church was a vibrant church set on fire by the Holy Ghost.
It's simple but clear message of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus was proclaimed with enthusiasm, unity, steadfastness, love and joy.
The outpouring of the Holy Ghost on others intensified the message.

I’m Ready to Be a Faithful Witness!
Delegates, Saints and Friends
Praise the Lord!
Welcome to the 2017 Ohio Diocese Convocation of the Church of Our Lord JesusChrist of the Apostolic Faith! We are glad you came.
It is our hope that you will wholeheartedly join with us in worship, prayer, learning and preparation to receive from the Lord, and to do His will. And wehave chosen a location which we believe will help us to achieve these goals.
We are truly living in perilous times. The world is lost. And men, women, andchildren in the church are losing their way. Confusion is sweeping across theland as never before seen. Whether it is marriage, sexual identity, familystructure or basic Biblical salvation concepts, many have wandered from thepath of Holiness. From drugs to human trafficking, invasion of privacy tooutright suppression of Christian expression, all that is godly is under attack.
However, no matter how difficult the times are, or how perplexing it is in thisage, there always remains a glorious hope. The hope is firmly rooted in GodHimself. He stays true to His promises and upholds His Word. He never leavesHimself without a witness. All it takes is a faithful witness to the power andresurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ in order to change lives and altercircumstances. So prepare to come and be inspired, and to leave with this year'stheme in your heart, “I'm Ready to Be a Faithful Witness”.
Bishop Kim Fitzgerald

Bishop Kim S. Fitzgerald
Bishop Kim S. Fitzgerald is the Ohio Diocese’s fourth Bishop. Born and raised in New York City. He began his journey with Jesus at the tender age of nine, when he was baptized in the name of Jesus.
As an adolescent, Bishop Fitzgerald recalls overhearing his grandmothertalking to his older cousin about the gift of the Holy Spirit. And it was atthat moment, he decided that he was going to receive that Gift. At the ageof twelve, he received the baptism of the Holy Spirit at Refuge Temple inBrooklyn, New York.
While so many other young men were being led astray by the trappings of the world, Bishop Fitzgeraldallowed himself to be led by the Holy Spirit and enrolled in the Church of Christ Bible Institute from1973 to 1974. The Church of Christ Bible Institute was founded in 1926, by Bishop R.C. Lawson. Hesuccessfully balanced Bible school. He received the call to ministry. As he continued to follow afterJesus, his scholastic endeavors flourished. In 1979, Bishop Fitzgerald received his Doctorate ofMedicine from SUNY Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine.
In 1979, Bishop Fitzgerald received his Doctorate of Medicine from State University of New YorkDownstate Medical Center College of Medicine. Bishop’s medical career planted him in Cleveland,Ohio, where he joined Pilgrim Church of Christ, under the leadership of Apostle James A. Maye.
Bishop Fitzgerald was ordained an Elder in the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ in 1985. Thefollowing year, he was installed as pastor of New Bethlehem Apostolic Church in Cleveland, Ohio.New Bethlehem Apostolic Church would later become known as Victorious Church of Christ.
In 2005, Bishop Fitzgerald was promoted to District Elder. In 2012, Bishop Fitzgerald was ordainedand consecrated to the Bishopric. And he now serves the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ and theBody of Christ as the Ohio Diocesan Bishop.
God's hand of favor is also upon Bishop Fitzgerald's professional life. In 1986, Bishop Fitzgeraldbecame a board certified urologist through the American Urological Association. From 1993-2003, heserved as the Chief of the Department of Urology for Kaiser Permanente, in Cleveland, Ohio.

2017 CONVOCATION WORKSHOP SUMMARIES
The Breakthrough PrayerThe Conference was awesome. The Revival was great. The Seminar kind of helped. But they all came to an end. And now, I’m underattack…again. Enough is Enough. If you are tired of being buffeted by the enemy, tired of worrying about your loved ones, yourfinances, and your health, then join me as we share what the enemy already knows – “There is a BreakThrough Prayer”. Don’t miss it!Your blessing is one petition away.
Facilitator: Pastor Donald Evans
What's Up Doc?The latest on health and easy recipes to start you on your way! Facilitator: First Lady Elaine Fitzgerald
Leading Reluctant People: Recognizing the Reason Why and Bringing Them Into Their PurposeLeadership success, during times of change or growth, is based on how well a leader handles reluctance. This interactive session willcover how to identify, address, communicate, and implement strategies necessary to move your team or auxiliary forward.
Facilitator: Elder Graylin Stargell
God's Intent and Purpose for MarriageThis workshop shall address God’s original plan and purpose for mankind. It will begin with the original commandments given to Adamand Eve, and why this was done. A Godly marriage will be described and “false marriages” will be exposed. Threats to a true marriage
shall be discussed and analyzed. Facilitator: Ohio Diocesan Bishop Kim Fitzgerald
Getting Your House In OrderIn God’s Blessing Plan, it states we are “the head and not the tail.” It further went on to say, “We would lend and not borrow.” If thisis the case, then why are we living beneath our privileges? Simply put, “We need to get our house in order.” Come and explore whatit takes to bring order in our house. Today’s economy is going to require a different strategy for the financial well-being of ourfamilies.
Facilitator: Deacon Alan Costner
Understanding the Heroin EpedimicThe solution, which is JESUS CHRIST, must be maximized in the heroin epidemic crisis. Philippians 4:13 tells us, “I can do all thingsthrough Christ who strengthens me.” This is still one of the most powerful scriptures in the Word of God; but it must be usedeffectively, not just memorized or quoted. Even in this crisis, Jesus is always ready to show himself strong and mighty on behalf ofanyone who puts their trust in Him. We must stop shaking our heads at situations as if people have no hope. My question to you is, (IS THERE ANYTHING TO HARD FOR GOD?) By the way, this is a rhetorical question! We as Saintsshould have that certain kind of Faith when we approach others to help them in the heroine epidemic war. We must be already armedwith the WORD and equipped for the battle. We must be grounded in the faith, which is laid on a sure foundation. We must be readyto long-suffer with souls unto salvation.
Facilitator: Sister Deseree Perry and Sister Wanda Warren
Gaining A Hungry LandIn a World where so many people are suffering for lack of the Word of God, our priority must be to reach others and share The GoodNews of the Gospel, and to share our testimony. The Word that we give someone else now, is how Jesus becomes known about in thenext generation. So let us be equipped and ready to increase the Citizens in the Kingdom and the family of Jesus Christ.
Facilitator: Pastor Kelvin Pate
Family Matters: Basic Morals For Today's FamilyThis panel discussion will focus on the challenges that many of us face for ourselves and with our family. Many unpredictable eventscan challenge and change our lives, such as, caring for loved ones, growing older, blending families, and even experiencing instruggles in disciplining children. In this panel discussion, you will have an opportunity to present your questions, and gain ideas, aswell as obtain solutions for encountered struggles and problems in these areas.
Facilitator: Sister Rose Handon Panel: Mother Florence Maye, Minister Larry Jackson, Lady Josephine Tyson, and Pastor Carl Jackson
